"Poor" Larry Brown...He has no input..What ashame...
It's a shame for Knicks fans that the only person in the organization who's had any success in their current job is the only one that doesn't have input.
You call 23 wins success??
No, it's not...but 1010 wins is a success....
23 Seasons NBA 1010-800 -Not counting 229 ABA wins and 102 ABA losses.

The 987 victories elsewhere means nothing to me because I am a Knick fan...All I care about is what happens here...It's like the Yankees paying Randy Johnson boatloads for what he has accomplished in his career and now he stinks in the uniform...He might have been a great coach before he got here but now he simply stinks...If he doesn't stink and he was tanking the season for his own personal reasons, then thats even worse, In my book thats treason....The idea that this guy can only coach a certain type of player is just beyond comprehension....I just can't wait for the curtain for fall on this drama!
I understand what you are saying but by the logic you are using (and once again I can understand it and I do hope guys like Steph can have the success he never had here), you are saying getting an unproven college coach like a Billy Donovan or any other college coach with no experience on the NBA level would have the same chance for success than hiring a guy like a Riley, LB, or Jackson....In the very end, the only way you can judge someone is on by past experience in a given situation.
Look, If we only judged by what happened here, Nate, Lee, and Frye would be gone because they only have 23 wins to 59 losses on the Knicks, and that is the only way they can be judged. We both know this is wrong, but this is who it looks if you only judge by what they did with the Knicks.
