I saw a basketball team who competed their arses off, starting 3 small fowards and 2 guards and holding their own and defeating a frontcourt that was supposed to dominate them, as well as a PG who was suppose to take the role of Reggie Miller in those big moments.

The Suns competed their arses off on both ends.

While Nash played no D whatsoever in this series and you are one of the first guys to be all over Marbs for not playing D...Yeah the play uptempo, bu they play the passings lanes alot ..They gamble tons and you call this good D..Come on bro, You can't give up over 100 pts a game in tdys game and tell me watch the game...

Don't you just LOVE it when someone is "widely regarded"?

Hold UP, If Kiki is so bright, why is he unemployed?

... the Garden chief was approached about firing Thomas and replacing him with Kiki Vandeweghe, the former Nuggets GM and ex-Knick. Because of Denver's success during Vandeweghe's five-year tenure, during which he took over a lottery team and built it into a playoff team with a pretty decent future, he is widely regarded as one of the better young executives.

Playoff team (NOT) with a "pretty decent" future?

Better young executives?

Don't get me started.

Im surprised Dolan is not paying Colangelo to NOT come here.

On the other hand, that amount of tax he pays he is paying everyone!

Nalod - would Stern talking to Dolan about Colangelo be considered tampering?

because someone else is going to pay him.

3 straight play-off appearances. their star player is 22 years old and coming off a season where he averaged 25 per and made 3rd team all-NBA. yeah nothing bright about that M.E.
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

Jerry the old man is pretty much divested of equity in the suns. Bryan is in Toronto and Sarver is really calling all the shots. This would be about bringing in a big personality with clout to clean this mess up and put the right people in place. 2 years in all he would be here for.

Since we blew it with Rod Thorn, bring in Russ Granik or Stu Jackson form the league office for clout. Dolan has to stop running this team on emotion.

The roster is not that bad talent wise, its just infected.

I hate Jim Dolan. I really do. Colangelo has the real ability to come in and turn this thing around and Dolan can't friggin see that. I don't know guys, I'm really starting to wonder if this will EVER turn around.

When are you guys gonna stop with the dream of bringing one guy in and things will change...When?

The payroll is at 125 mil now...If we keep Brown and give him what he wants, no doubt it will be at 150 mil before the season starts...All we can offer anyone is the MLE...So now, can Colangelo hit a jump shot?

you're right, there is no 1 man who can come in & fix everything... but you have to start w/a man w/a good solid plan to get things started in the right direction... does Dolan have one? Mills? Isiah? It's obvious Dolan has grown disenchanted w/LB's vision for this team, so we need SOMEONE who knows what they're talking about & who knows how to build a franchise for success w/a proven track record to keep the 3 Blind Mice from destroying this franchise for the next 10 years... the payroll situation isn't going to get any better w/Dolan & Isiah in charge of this franchise, it's clear... let's at least stop the bleeding & regain some sense of SANITY here to start with & build from there.

Jerry Colangelo, another saviour both in to save the Knicks. Sure why not. Why not destroy another person's rep to boot. He can join the growing list. Hell bring in Kiki to serve as his assistant, so we can officially kill two reps with one stone.

This is all about Dloan and his money...Colangelo would not be able to tell Dolan what to do with his money...Colangelo would just be another pawn at the garden...The Garden is about big money..really big money...Dolan would not turn over the reins to Colangelo or anyone else to do waht they please or what they should do...Break this baby down...Everyone thought that Brown carried clout and a swagger that will carry him here, help him build a winning situation here...Dolan is curently treating him like a little high school girl...Even if Brown stays now, his nuts just got cut off by Dolan...Rep means nothing in this town, so bring on Colangelo, we need another savior, we are fresh out right now....

you're absolutely right about LB, holfresh... he has zero authority here now with the way this entire fiasco has been handled by Knicks ownership... but what else do you want this organization to do at this point? do you think this situation gets fixed from the collective minds of Jim Dolan, Steve Mills & Isiah Thomas? imo, there's no way this situation will EVER be rectified until we are under new ownership.

It up to Dolan to stop driving this agenda of making the playoffs...We won't be able to build anything signing all these has beens with big contracts who was once good yesteryear...We need to build a winner from within, thru the draft then sign a key free agent to the max...Until then we will be pissing in the wind even with Colangelo here...

i agree w/all of that... but trust me, NONE of that will ever happen unless Dolan has someone w/a CLUE of how to build a successful franchise advising him... Mills & Isiah don't have a clue about what they're doing, they've proven as much... this is why we need someone like Colangelo, if nothing else but to instill at least a bit of sanity into this pathetic franchise... again, he's not the hero i'm looking to save us... but unless we get a guy like him w/some credibility (LB has none anymore considering the current situation), then this is just going to keep repeating in a perpetual pathetic cycle of idiocy & incompetence

``It's not a weak draft," said Ainge. ``It's just weak at the top. In a year where you have LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade, there isn't that. But from that point on, that's where our draft is. Although there's not as much separation as in most years, I think it's still an advantage to be picking who you want and not be picking who's left over."

A guy like Colangelo is a guy with proven success. He will come in here and immediately want to do things his way, because that's what successful people do. Knicks management will view this as a coup and not let it happen. The cycle will continue. Right not it's status quo and hope for a miracle. I'm praying we can get away from that.

But the sorry thing is a guy like Colangelo will probably not come here because he sees what goes on here and knows he will not be allowed to make changes. Anyone coming here is at risk of destroying what they have built if they don't do things Dolan's way. But it's sad because we need a coach/GM combo that just wrecks shop, tears it all down, runs most of the crew out of town(over the course of a couple years) and gets this thing going in the right direction. I am sick of saviors. Building will creat a savior.
I just hope that people will like me
