Not defending Isiah but he makes it sound like Isiah did more harm to a franchise than Elgin Baylor did

Elgin was always better at obtaining talent than the owner was at keeping it.

The Knicks have also spent a ridiculus amount of money and how many times have they been in the lottery since Isiah got here?

Not that hard when you pay lottery rent. Knicks have been in the lottery 5 times in 25 years. The Clippers just finished a run of being in the lottery for the last 20 years. Lets keep it accurate.

I agree, when you think of it, with all the lottery picks, which superstar did the clippers let walk? odom? Kandi? LOL!! manning? charles smith? Loy Vought? I mean I can't think of one. Now they have Brand who the bulls foolishly traded away, Kaman and that Livingston kid, all are great talents.... We laughed at the clippers and Baylor for years. I mean maybe he was the real genius all along? They didn't give mega deals to a bunch of scrubs!!!!
Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

What big time players did they not keep? I guess Odom but it's not like he helped them make the playoffs in his 4 years. And that's 1 player in 20 years!

You know what, I'm going to relent. I just looked it up and you and tkf are right, it's not that much. McDyess was probably the best guy they drafted and I'm not sure who they traded him for. Baylor's draft eye is nothing to be heralded.
