Larry shouldn't be bought out now. I'd give it the first month of the season. If things haven't turned around by then, do it. If he is fired then replace him with Isiah.

Do you really need more of the same from Brown to reach a decision?

What's really troubling here, is that this is not the GM input like Jackson is trying to suggest (tells you how much connection he has with the Knicks organization). The GM wants the coach to stay but the owner is stepping in front of the GM/president saying I want him gone. That's a significant difference then if this was Thomas call.

Larry scoffed at the notion of taking MSG's media relations course. Dolan fired Marv for less.

Dolan is like the Emperor and his new clothes. Just keep telling him he looks great and you'll get along fine. But otherwise you're fired.

Dolan should have never rehired Marv. The man pleaded no contest on an assault of a woman. Marv at time he was rehired went on the FAN and gushed about both Charles and James Dolan. Refused to answer questions about the incident, so I take what Albert says with alot of grain of salt as far as media relationships. Just ask him about Ian Eagle, and see what response you get from him.

You really care about all that? I sure don't. Marv is the best in the business and was the voice of NY sports since before the Knicks championships. That he wears a wig and bites hookers on the a/ss means so little to me I can't tell you.

At the time, yes I do. You seem to want to take a blind eye to it, that's you and your values and lifestyle. To each their own. Second I long thought that Albert was overrated as a play by play person. He seems to think he is more of the interest than the actual game. Before there was Starbury, there was Marvbury. Albert thought he was bigger than the players including Clyde. Oh btw, the woman he was accused of assaulting wasn't a hooker, it was a friend of his.

We are going nowhere anyway, i dont even care. The biggest joke in sports history is taking place and it is just getting worse. How can this happen? Even under Layden it wasnt this bad which i still cant believe.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Who cares about Marv? He can't go to his left anyway.

Yeah, the Layden era got ugly, but nothing quite like this. No shot in hell do I buy tickets next season. Dolan needs to go.

The "talent" can't be moved.

Larry can't coach the "talent."

Therefore, it's cheaper to move Larry.

I'm glad you put "talent" in quotes. The thing I disagree with most is that people think this team should have won this year. I don't see it. Our best player even disregarding his attitude isn't at his best a top 15 player and we don't have another player that's in the top 50. You don't win based on potential. The reality is Frye, Nate, Lee even Curry are guys that are all about potential and for every good thing they contributed they gave it back in other areas. I think all of these guys could play for Brown and improve next year as could Craw and a few others.

Why are you so anxious to hold on to "talent" that no one else wants?
