Larry endorsed baron like he was his lover when the knick played gs.

I'd love to see a baron for Francis deal. Baron is a better passer and can actually take over games down the stretch.

Also is you go to reebok.com baron davis has a little video on there saying how much love he has for nyc.

Zach Randolph.
To be fair, Zach had the surgery over the summer and just played 74 games averaging 18 and 8. On a good team, I'd say he ought to put up 15 and 10 and could easly manage that.His game doesn't rely heavily on athleticism. Hes crafty and rebounds by positioning ala Kurt Thomas. I'd take him, we have enough bad contracts that i wouldn't mind trading a couple of them for him. A trade for him would be difficult to pull off without another team tho, but if it can be done in a way favorable for us (jerome and Q1), it makes a lot of sense.

if frye had a better season than zach his first two years, then there is no way i'm going to impede frye's development by bringing in a guy that's 24 and has 5 years left on that deal at max money. especially a guy that doesn't play one lick of defense.

Frye had a strained ACL.....which means parcial tear to some doctors.

I don't understand what you guys want.....Defense, defense, defense......yeah Detroit has got you brain washed. If a NBA team ever wins with a retarded hermaphrodite with one eye and a hunch back then you probably would be crying for one of those.

What I'm saying is that you want defense? So who do the Knicks get? I gurantee anyone you mention would either suck, be over the hill, or just be impossible for the Knicks to trade or sign.

eny, all we want is one guy brought in. is that so much to ask? 50+ transactions by isiah and not one defensive minded player outside of malik (who just can't go). you need at least one f'n defender on your squad starting. and we dont'.

Zach played 74 games after his surgery and put up 20 and 10 or something very close to it. not a Chris Webber 20 and 10, but a spry and lively 20 and 10.
I am not basing anything on a hunch, I base my opinion on the FACT that he played 74 games in the NBA directly after the surgery.

Is his knee really th issue here, because it doesn't seem to be one on the court. The point is, I like Zach, I think talent-wise, he is an elite big man. If we could get him, I think its something we should consider, for me it would depend on the package.

If we could get Amare, would you do it?

We have that eddy curry kid. We don't need Zach.

again, frye or zach? regardless of what the package is for zach, make a choice b/c that's what it will come down to.

Zach is much better than Frye offensively, and Frye may never be as good as Zach. The package matters to me, but I would pick Zach over him, any other argument, imo, is based on an emotional attachment to a player's potential; and again, I freaking LOVE Frye. But Zach is like 2 years older at 24 and has a full NBA season under his belt after surgery, and an elite offensive reportoire, in the paint, on the elbow, top of the key, hes an all around PF. I'd do it.

does being a lockerroom problem figure into the equation at all?
