I actually think Steph and Melo would be a fantastic pairing.
I think something like Steph and Mo Taylor for Andre Miller and Kenyon makes sense for both. I'm sure Larry would like Dre running the point here.
I'm just amazed at how the playoffs exposes the heart of players...Melo has lost a few nothces on his belt in my eyes...Dre is horrible by the way...At least he won't be bad in the locker room, on the court is another issue...
Im not on the melo band wagon so its not suprising. What I think Melo does is try to shed the diva entitlement gig a little each year. I was impressed he came in this year in shape and seems to be moving in the right direction.
Dre Miller is a Layden favorite so I might be tainted. Im not impressed with him. I would like to see Steph gone and be a good player elsewhere. I think he could work in denver but I don't think anyone there is strong enough to say "this is my team" or "this is OUR team". Camby? Melo? Not really.
All I know is when Kobe or Jordan started moving the ball around the teams one. Superstars can't do it alone. Kobe is the best player on the planet and his threat changed defense's. He would be the MVP if he did it all season long and did not want his historic season of stat padding.
Melo is not an all around threat. Nice player, but not Max player either. Melo looks like he might have the fat gene in him once he gets a big contract. This is one cat thats going to be hard to project.
Lebron is a different species of man altogeter. Only thing about Lebron is he seems to be aging/developing like hes older. He does not look like he is 21/22. When he was 18 he looked 25! Jordan was skinny in college and really did not fill until he was 30. Lebron "gate" seems to be off and I wonder if knee problems might arise.
Cleveland does not have the guns to suppliment Lebrons greatness just yet.
