has repeated 1st round exits, followed by missing the playoffs mean kg is overrated as a franchise player? is he just a really really good player...but not one of the special ones? or is he special and just a victim of circumstance?

He is a superstar.. Lebron is probably the only guard /forward thats better than Kobe..

Silverfuel, WOODMANnYk. Let's not forget that the Lakers owe Horry a big thank you for two of those rings. Remember two key games, Horry hit two huge' shots that broke the other teams backs, in two different seasons. So if the Lakers didn't win those two games because of Shaq & Kobe on the same team, then I'd say it is quesionable wether Kobe is a franchise player or not.
I'll never trust this' team again.
