C'mon lets get real, Eddy has him beat in every statistical category, Kwame averages 7.4 points to Eddy's 13.6, there is no comparison. Eddy played poorly this year, and still looks much better than Kwame. Lets keep this realistic.

kwame eddy
min 27 26
ppg 7.4 13.6
reb 6.6 6.0
ast 1.0 0.5
blk 0.6 0.8
fg% 53% 56%
ft% 55% 63%
fga 5.4 8.3
fta 3.3 6.8

#'s are similar minus the touches.

forget averages..just look at how Kwame flourish the last 2months while Curry regressed

kwame
mar: 30 min, 8.8 ppg, 7.7 rebs, 1.2 asts, 0.6 blk, 64% fg, 5.1 fga
apr: 32 min, 12.8 ppg, 8.6 rebs, 1.5 asts, 0.8 blk, 57% fg, 8.4 fga

eddy
mar: 27 min, 14.8 ppg, 6.4 rebs, 0.4 asts, 0.6 blk, 65% fg, 8.5 fga
apr: 22 min, 11.3 ppg, 4.1 rebs, 0.1 asts, 0.6 blk, 62% fg, 5.9 fga

nicely done! Notice Kwame actually stays on the floor for 32mins without getting in foul trouble. And look who's in the playoffs and like MS said to think we could've had Kwame and kept this year's lottery pick and next years

the point of all this...if curry doesn't come into camp in shape or doesn't improve his rebounding, then all that "offense" is moot. i'd rather have a guy in shape and that rebounds better and defends better...at the same age...being coached by lb than a big buttermilk biscuit.

The point is that he ain't doing too much, it hard to get call for fouls if you ain't doing too much.

Kwame is a dickhole for what he just did to Diaw. He made a nice block and then had to completely ruin it and almost start a huge fight. Why would you do that? You just made a good play, you don't have to throw a guy to the ground then stand over him like that means something. Thats why he'll never be good, he's too stupid.

Kwame Brown is a reason LA may advance to the 2nd round and possibly WCF's

I think you may be hitting the DMB peace pipe a little too much during the finals.

prove it no ifs, ands, or buts

to be fair, I'll give you leeway til Curry's first season he reports in game shape to start to build your case on.

He can't prove it Mck1. All he does is come on this board, make random states, disappear for a few days, come on and make more random statements. Then he'll back it up by saying, he has season tickets and thats supposed to make him more of a fan.

hey, keep in mind, Curry is better than Kwame...no if's ands or buts.

based on what? That's like when I told my boss at work that Marcus Camby is better than Ben Wallace, and he said "That's not true" and I said "Why?" and he said "He's just better." He proceeded to say that Ben Wallace wants to win more, but that's really all.

rv, back up your explanation with some facts. Kwame is having big games right now. Curry has been pretty bad this season, as has Kwame, but at least Kwame started coming along late.

Looking at their career paths and based on what I see currently and based on the statistics pointed out within this post, I believe Curry is better than Kwame Brown right now.

That's with Curry extremely out of shape and Kwame having a "breakout" season for him. I'm sure as time goes by kwame could very well end up better, but ofcourse, there is no way to tell until that time goes by.

IF (and that is a big IF) I am to believe Larry Brown, Shaq, Zeke and Jordan, then I'm going to have to go with the statement that Curry is better than Kwame.

Now, if NYK4 wants to be a cry baby and start attacking me, that's his perogative, but people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

McK1, I stated my explanation, if my travel schedule offends some of you and prevents me from posting on a more frequent basis, I apologize and will adjust my career to address your attacks in a more punctual manner.

if my blind love of my favorite NBA team offends you, you should check the URL of this board. Chump!

really funny seeing people argue big men take longer to develop when it comes to Curry but declare Kwame a bust as if they both didn't come straight from highschool and weren't drafted the same year.

and now we're seeing Kwame's talent start to take form the last couple months of the season while Ed regressed and opening round of the play-offs and people are getting a little green
