There is no single player in this league that we can acquire that will not come with weaknesses. We have to know this. That's why we need to build a team instead of looking for perfect players and coach's that can come in and save us.
I just hope that people will like me

Frye, Jailen, Butler and our low No.1 pick.

Thats it. Frye is a 15-6 player, butler is solid, Jailen is cap space, and a pick is good eatin.

Then Marbury for Martin. Martin is back up. Martin is no savior, think of it as buying out Marbs and getting a good sub in return. Maybe we shelve Martin for a year and let it heal.

Keep Francis. Francis and Craw might work out.

But if we et O'neil there is the possibility we fire Isiah. Can't say we didn't try.

Frye is a nice player but he's not a blue chip prospect thats going to have teams willing to part with superstar frontcourt players for.

Will Frye ever be an Elton Brand/Jermaine Oneil type?

I think you are overvaluing what teams now feel about Frye and overvaluing what teams are currently views on O'Neal. Lets face it Jackson is the guy driving that team right now. I don't know if it has been injuries or what but this isn't the same O'Neal from 2 years ago and the Pacers know it.

Yeah, J O'Neal made me look stupid, no doubt.
I am glad though.

haha... it's all good bro... if there's anyway the Knicks could possibly target JO in the offseason, i want them to pursue it... i would give up any of our young guys to get him too.

If the Knicks acquire that J O'Neil that showed up at last nite. Then hell yeah 100 times over. I just would like to see him put back to back dominate games like he did in his MVP type of year. btw, where Tony Carter is just flat out one of the best playoff guards I seen.

If Jermaine keeps up the intensity he brought last night for the next couple of games, the Nets won't make it out of Conseco Fieldhouse.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I totally agree with that.. before the series, O'neal was the X factor cause NJ don't have anyone inside they can really on.. Krstic, robinson, collins are horrible when it comes to physical play.. O'neal should continue to dominate..

I agree with Pharzone If O'neal plays like that, we get his ***.. As you know, he plays soft sometimes... You know any trade with O'neal, will cost us Lee and Frye with others involved...

Why is JO even on the block, or rumored as such?

Bird questions his heart?

I'm really asking. I haven't followed Indy too closely.

Kristic did take it to him in game 2. Kristic is a nice player. I think O'Neil's pride got to him last nite because he played with a lot of passion. Probably got ticked how everyone said that Kristic took it to him. I think Bird and Carlise are probably tired of motivating those guys. That's always been the knock on him, he needs constant motivation.
