I'm wit ya nixluva...there is no reason everyone has a healthy off season and comes back in shape ready to roll...i'll take healthy veterans to start the season and the kids taking us through that all star stretch and then the playoffs.

nate's jersey isn't going to be top anything btw...he's a rookie and outside of new york and seattle, nobody even knows who he is...they never show highlights on sportscenter and everyone laughs at how many chances he had at the dunk contest.

Maybe, but I'm doubting it. There is still lebron, wade, melo, KG, nash, marbs, duncan, iverson, Jordan (even retired), mcgrady, vince, kidd, SHAQ, kobe...

Nobody is getting a nate jersey over marbury until marbs is no longer a knick...have you been to a game recently, all marbury jerseys (sprinkled with ewing jerseys)

If we keep this team and everybody snaps out of it, we're going all the way. (cue sig)

I think the plan changed a bit, cuz LB changed his tune. After talking with Isaiah, he probably realizes now that he DOESN'T have the power to just trade Steph, cuz like Pharzeone said, Dolan doesn't want to trade Steph. Steph is still a NAME that fans can identify. LB tried to drive a wedge between steph and the Fans this year and he was successful with many fans. I didn't buy it, cuz it was clear to me that LB was doing a HORRIBLE job this year and he was just looking for a scapegoat. Steph provides an easy target.

I'm glad that everyone is speaking more calmly today and reason is taking over. The emotions of this season had guys a little crazy. Its not likely that any big deals will go down. Perhaps a trade of Francis, Jalen and MO. But really we're kind of stuck with this group, due to contracts and recent poor performances.

I think you hit the nail on the head...LB was leaning towards a it's me or him battle in the offseason and he was headed off at the path....I think Isiah had to remind him of the economics involved and also remind him how he gets paid...

I just wanted to point out that Brown quit on the team as well.

If he really was in it for the knicks and us fans, his acid reflex would have lasted about a day.

I've seen coaches come back from heart attacks faster.

I was listening to Michael Kay today and he said he spoke to a few doctors from tht AMA and they said they never saw an acid reflux case that would keep you away that long from work...Hey man it's all good, we are one happy family again, lets just try to improve in the offseason and give it another run next season....It look like everyone was saying all the right things at the press conference....

I'm cool with this squad, the elders may not realize that this is their last shot at anything, but the 8 kids we have 26 and under are going to be ruling the East in 3 years. And they are 8 SOLID KIDS:
Frye, Curry, Jackie B
QRich, QWoods, DavidLee
Crawford, Nate

if I only had a time machine to bring me forward 2 years...if LB stays and they continue to grow, we will be pretty much unstoppable.

This group was beating up on most of the east in that mini run of theirs and 3 are rookies and two were 22.

^ What about Francis..........

isn't that why they brought him in?

He is not the draw that Marbs is...As you can quickly see, Marbs is a better player..Marbs may be unpopular here but still has the top three selling Jersey in the league...

Popularity does not add cred.

dolan likley bought lots of jerseys to boost the ranking. He's funny like that.

I think that last game was pretty much sold out. And you can't argue with the number of marbury jerseys you see the kids wearing at the games.

Just because a few loud mouth posters hate marbs, doesn't mean the rest of us do.

When it was getting hot and heavy, i was across the pond, so I can't really tell what the pulse of the city was, but it appears almost all of them (speaking about the press) have suddenly turned on Brown in much the same manner.

As they continue to bash him over the next couple of months, you'll realize who the fans are going to the garden to see...hint, it ain't LB.

The players sell the tickets and the jerseys. The Fans are sold on the players.

I think everyone will come back ready to rock, and those that don't, won't be allowed in the gym.

Well I was refering to his popularity in terms of what he brings to the Garden...The Knicks has had one of their worse years ever and people are still trekking to the Garden...I mean, think about that... In past years the Garden was empty when we stunk...Looking at the roster, whose game do you really look forward to seeing...For me it's Marbs..I don't think I'm alone on thta one...

How long did Marbury sit with knee tendinitis?

Where has Isiah been hiding the last 5 months?

Why aren't you guys mentioning that at all?

Now that the Knicks have gotten all the animosity out of their systems, they can comeback next year and stick to basketball. People really do forget that we had a LOT of young players and they're likley to be better next year. I think this team has enough talent and if we can just add some of the missing role players, which shouldn't be that hard to do, this team will be a playoff team next year.

Win win for Marbs? How so?

Last week he mouths off about how he's going to go off today and then he says nothing with his tail between his legs. He did nothing to change anybody's opinion of him. He's still a selfish loser.

The only way he stays is if Isiah still has decision making power, which is a scary thought in and of itself.

Win win for Marbs lovers....guys like me..from the look of things he's still going to be here... I think the prevailing thought was that he was a sure goner...now it seems like he might be here next year...but then again they might be trying to jack up his value...If I was him I would pull a Gary Sheffield...U know...U don't wnat to trade for me gig...I'll ruin ur organization move...

You think he's going to be here because of what? Because they didn't come right out and say they were going to look to trade him?

You're really trying to read things into this end of season press conference.

Just wondering Holfresh but do you care more about Marbury and blaming LB than about the Knicks?

Well I thought alot of blame that went towards Marbs was misplaced...It really wasnt fair to put the problems of the Knicks on him as many of you have done...Everyone's conclusion about this way was that Marbs was the source of everything bad and he needed to be moved...That wasn't fair....He is a really good player that can help this team...I'm not much of a believer that some people are losers no matter what...Nash didnt win until he got to Phoenix...I mean Dallas was always a good team but Nash really had no impact on that team...I think the situation brings certain type of game out of players...So I will always support the Knicks above all....Marbs I like but he don't have to be a Knick...My first love will alway be the Knicks....I just think he was getting a raw deal thats all...So i defended him....Listen I also want Brown here, didnt think it was all his fault...

difference is that its not Marburys basketball skills we're even talking about.....
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

yeah it was...everyone spoke about him being a selfish player and nothing on the court indicated that he was that....I basically watch the games and saw the performance there...i wasn't too worried about what was said in the press...as far as I saw, he was trying to do what larry ask before he went down..

I agree with Holfresh. I don't see any reason to be so negative towards Steph. He's been basically by himself on this team since he got here. When the players around him start holding up their end of tthe bargain we'll win games.

Tell me what does Steph have to do with the fact that our bigs don't block shots or help defend? What does Steph have to do with all the other turnovers that his teammates commit when he only avg'd 2.64 TO's a game? How can he both pass the ball and then make the shots for his teammates, like Quentin who was in there bricking shot after shot? How did Steph mess up the rotations that LB kept trying. Steph was the one constant and that's because he can actually play better than anyone else on the team.

So why are we getting rid of our best player? Cuz he's not a nice guy? Cuz LB says he's the problem? All I can say is that he got injured FIGHTING thru a pick and he still tried to play injured, unlike a lot of guys on this team. So to question his loyalty to the team and call him selfish is just ridiculous. No one on this team has done more game in game out than Steph.
