With all due respect, please don't tell me what's it about. Isles, are you trying to change topics? The topic of the thread is who is going to take our players. My repsonse is that someone will take them.

And you don't think that asking what we can expect in return is germane to the discussion?

With all due respect, I think the point wasn't who is going to take our players but what can we expect in return. Or maybe when, for example, Marbury is traded you think the discussion will be "Wow, I can't believe so and so took Marbury" without any mention of what we got back in return.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Yup, you're right. The only thing that matters is who's going to take our players and who we get in return has nothing to do with it.

I bet when you hear that so and so got traded you just ask what team he was traded to and then walk away without asking who they got in return.

If you want to start a new thread about the quality of players that the Knicks could expect to get back is another thing. I think people were trying to put together possible trade scenarios where the current Knick players could be traded period then Bonn introduced qualifers to the trade. I was commenting on the ability to move players period, original topic. That simple.

All I am saying why respond back to my post about what the point should be. And I happen to disagree that is the same discussion. Stating that guys can't be move is one thing, arguing about the returning quality is another. He "scolded" me that I shouldn't care about the point of the thread. No problem. Isles is once again been given freedom to hijack another thread for his agenda.

You're being a drama queen.

Ohhhh, that's why people don't like me.

minny will want marbury.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

i see alot of posts on this thread but again with the same teams?

this is proving my view on this even further...NO ONE IN THE LEAGUE WANTS THESE GUYS!!!

rethinking this again today...and i believe if we do end up trading them the most we will get in return from any team is draft picks....???

we are going to end up trading supposed to be all-stars for picks!!! does that sound good to u? sounds like a bad deal to me....
Had enough Melo?

Dude, you're getting ridiculous. Why are you posting on a message board if you don't want to hear counterarguments? That's pretty lame.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

but they won't give up KG, and there is nobody else on that team I want.

My hope is that we keep everyone, maybe dump francis, he's obviously a baby.

I'm with TymeLessKnicks, I think they all come back...the smart thing for the knicks to do is go after Kobe, KG, Lebron or Melo, and if we don't get any of those players (when a team gets swept in the playoffs, GMs panic) Isiah continues his stellar record in the draft and we battle through until the contracts we have expire.

I'm confident Curry and Crawford and Frye and Lee and MAYBE Nate will be our team in 2 years. CurryFrye Crawfish will be on the menu for the next 6 or 7 years.

Now, if we can somehow find a way for QRich and Marbury to be friends (imagine that back court when Q Rich is canning the open 3s). JRose (I'm repeating myself, sorry) is a keeper in my mind, but he does have an expiring contract, but I say use it only if you are getting a true franchise player, otherwise, let it go.

I think we are all in agreement that Crawford is looking to be worth the money and I'm pretty sure after Curry's second year, we'll be saying the same thing about him.

Zeke works a quality sign and trade for a young emerging superstar (we only need ONE MORE) and it's all good (did someone say something about al harrington?)

Isles, nice to see you back in the fold, pharzone, don't battle isles, he's relentless...even more than fish. (jokes mods, jokes)

Agree 100%. Everyone in the league wants these guys (francis was involved in a bunch of possibilities), the key is, what are they willing to give up for them.

The knicks will only take a superstar back for marbury, that's just how it is, no journey man and no also ran and no up and coming star. He's new york, he's brooklyn, he's staying.

I think McGrady has worn out his welcome in houston, and Yao could back up marbs crappy defense...or maybe van gundy got a taste of what brown got this year and will take MoT and Franchise back for McGrady (current nick name is mr. glass) and we possibly throw in...hmmm...i dunno, QRich?

thoughts?
