Billy has a very bright future...It's dificult to predict college coaches on the NBA level...Pitino was horrible,Hamilton was worse with Washington..Floyd never really panned out...So it's a iffy proposition...

Name the only team in the last 7 years thast has played for the national championship twice?

That may be true but other then making the championship they've lost in the first and second round every year under Donovan.
2000 - lost in championship
2001 - lost in the 2nd Round
2002 - lost in the 1st Round
2003 - lost in the 2nd round
2004 - lost in the 1st round
2005 - lost in the 2nd round
2006 - won championship

donovan does have ny roots so that's always a good thing. he played under MY favorite knicks coach of all time in pitino (with riles being a close second)

but if we go this route...doesn't that mean we're going full rebuild?

Marbury has NY roots.....LB has NY roots.......what do you say we limit ourselves to one NY guy per Knicks team bench?
