There's a lot of potential for a blow up there. I guess it depends on the deal to get him here. Also he plays the same position as 2-3 of our better prospects in Frye, Lee and Butler. Maybe Butler plays some 5 and Lee some 3 but aren't we looking to slate Frye the starter in a year or 2 at worst?

I'm just weary of a guy that hasnt been the same player for 2 years since he got paid. I have no idea what kind of guy he is but its eerily similar to Dampier.

I see Boozer as a complement to Frye. That way Boozer can play closer to the basket and Frye can shoot from the outside. I think Lee and Butler can combine with them to become a pretty nice front court.

But like you said, it depends on the deal. Boozer produces, but he has his baggage. If we can trade for Curry/Francis, I would do it, mainly because I want Curry out of my sight.

I really don't know what to make of Boozer's staying out because of injury. Maybe I would feel differently if I were paying him a king's ransom, but the goal should be to keep a player healthy for the long term. I prefer to err on the side of caution, especially with hamstrings. They lag on for quite a while and they reoccur easily if you come back early. Remember KJ? Hamstrings did him in.

I think Boozer is a good risk.
