I saw the first half and then some friends and I went out to Louies in part washington for dinner. When we finally got there they had a tv by the bar with the knicks on. Quentin was carrying Jamal and i thought it was the highlights from yesterday...and then I realized it was todays game. Jamals doing well....its nice to have something positive to talk about.
Butler + Curry together...how was that working out?

curry needs k-mart.

end of story.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

for those who watched the game, what was the deal with eddy? why did his production disappear after the first half? why does he play most of his ball in the first quarter? too many bacon streaks at halftime?

Curry sucks. I don't remember a guy his size who misses so many easy looks like he does. The guy has extreme agility, and you can especially see that when you watch him in person, but he hardly uses it. Jermaine vs Curry should have been a hell of a matchup last night, but Jermaine dominated.

Speaking of which, the game was freaking awesome, but that foul on Jermaine by Mo T, when he took the J with like a second remaining, made me want to puke, and Mo actually played some decent defense. But that play was right up there with Q Dogs missed dunk.

Garden was maybe on 3/4 full last night but it was a lot of fun! The place exploded when Craw hit his shot, and out of the 6-7 games I've gone to this year, this was the only game where we had chants of defense that the crowd was really into!

Curry is a good offensive matchup for 25-30 minutes a game. unfortunately, that's not worth trading one or maybe two top three lotto picks. I think Brown is still willing to work with him and he's still young, so there's hope for him to become a legit full time starter.

Crawford's maturation has been fun to watch this season. He looks completely different. I think he's a LOCK to be the starter next season. Francis/Qrich/Jamal/Nate is a solid backcourt, they should address the PF/SF spots in the off season.

edit: how nuts is it that in 4 of the last 7 wins, it's been a Crawford game-winner? Kid has ice in his veins. at least Isiah made one good move.

VDesai, I kinda noticed the opposite. I felt the crowd was a lot more dead than mid season, just b/c the losing has sucked the life out of the garden, and the crowd didn't truely pick up until the 4th quarter. But then again, my section sucked...

At the end of the game when it was exciting, people started standing up, and some prick a couple of seats away from me started shouting "SIT DOWN!!!!!!!" and I think he was a Knicks fan. And when there was like 20 seconds to go and I was standing, along with everyone else, the woman behind me told me to sit. She had to move to another one of the millions of empty seats behind me.

Weirdos.....

VDesai, what section were you in. A lot of weird stuff was going on in the crowd.

I was in 345. I'm usually up in 421. Every game that I've gone to this year has been somewhat lackluster, so maybe that's why I thought this one was good, but I definitely felt some of the old Garden in the 4th. I thought it was gonna be a lot worse this late in the year.

I saw that fight a few sections over. I have no idea what that was about. Some guy a few sections below the fight was carrying a Pacer banner and was getting killed. I saw him leaving the Garden and he was still getting it good. Good times.

There were a bunch of Pacer fans out actually.
