1. Crawford
AGREED. And while his improvements havent translated into stats or wins I see it.
2. Qyntel who will only get better and deserves major props for playing hustling defense on Lebron
AGREED
3. Curry because he's Jamal's boy
AGREED... but he's got a lot of work this offseason. I think if he's fat in training camp Knicks are looking to dump him.
4. Frye - remember him?
AGREED. LB loves him
5. Lee - because he's Frye's boy
AGREED
6. Jackie Butler because he only gets better and is only 20 years old
AGREED
7. Quentin Richarsdon - because anyone who had the type of year he's had would have quit long ago
AGREED
8. Nate is on the bubble
I think he's gone because of his marketability, but he could survive

I think Francis could be next year's starting PG. He rebounds, he's tough, good attitude in the right spot, coachable, cares and you do need some scoring.

Qrich's indictment and constant finger pointing at the knick quitters would be more exceptable if his production level was at least half as good as some of the quitters on this team.

Good attitude but his game is garbage. He either needs to be made our 8th or 9th man or should be shown the door. No way should that scrub be our starting 2 guard nxt yr.

Q rich is a much better player than we have seen this year, that is for sure. I think he was fingerpointing effort, not effectiveness, sometimes you are just not good enough, but there always should be effort....

I like the idea of trading nate no so much for his immaturity but if we can move him for a piece we need. Qich is a shooting guard, Jamal, and Francis. WE need a pure point even if just a back up.

I like nates game, and in time he can reduce the clown act. But I'd rather see us use him and a draft pick to move up in the draft and catch a gem in a pickers market. This draft may have some surprises in store for those who can scout.

i wonder if nate + BOTH our draft picks can be sold for seattle's lottery pick?

Seattle has a shot at Gay or Roy where they are picking. Would you give that up for Nathaniel and 2 picks in the 20's?
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

fish.mike you are a gentleman and a basketball scholar

Not because we sometimes agree, but becuase you are thougtful and analytical

Do you think Larry likes David Lee or not? His pattern of minutes have been crazy.

What position does Mister Lee play in Summer League?

well to be honest, I have heard from a little birdy that Larry doesnt care for Lee that much. Maybe its a personality thing, maybe its just rookie thing, but my guess is I read too much into that stuff. Still not sure what to make of Lee. Still think he's not really a 3 and his best spot will be to put on 10 pounds or so and be a good uptempo style PF or even center in small line ups. Next year I just see him as a great bench player that brings a lot of energy, rebounding and can play the 3,4 or 5 effectively against other team's 2nd units.

I like the Q's. Woods is playing like he knows this could be his last shot. Rich hasnt scored since Brandy but he's still trying to do other things, like DEFEND.

I'm not sold on Curry either. He hasnt been in shape all year and while I think he's a good kid I think he's dumb. There's something not right there. MAybe he really just needs a whole year under Brown, and will bounce back. He's young so there's always that possibility.

Rajon Rondo

Sac has a pick in the mid teens where he is expected to fall. Perhaps Nate and 2 picks to continue retooling would entice them.

Rondo is probably the best 2-way pg propect in the draft. Not as good as Marcus Williams when ie comes to running an offense, but defensively, he disrupts the passing lanes, can guard full court and despite not being a good shooter, he has a knack for making clutch plays when his team needs it.

Damn, THAT's Rudy Huxtable?

No wonder Q's shot has been off all season.

It's a miracle he can find Madison Square Garden.

having said that.... If he's doesn't get it together, he gotta go too.

I don't care what LB said about Craw, I have not seen improvement. His d is still terrible and he is still horribly inconsistant. I'm happy he helped us get another win though.

LB likes him cuz when he insults him, he doesnt say anything back

MS - did you say something?

Anyone can be traded

ask Clarence weatherspoon

And what do you trade them for? Other players who take up roster spots. And in some cases you take back more players than you gave up which takes up even more roster spots.

And when you're looking to trade bad contracts like those players, you're going to be taking back a lot of garbage in return.

What a great vicious cycle Isiah has put us in.

actually...it was Layden who started it

YES! This is who I want the Knicks to draft. This kid is going to be the steal of the draft!

he hasn't insulted him. he hasn't insulted q. he hasn't insulted malik. he only talks about players that question and challenge him and his methods. this also means guys that question and challenge him in practice and behind closed doors, not just in games.

Larry hasn't insulted Jackie Butler or Qyntel Woods

he probably called Jerome James a few choice names before, and after, sending him home on New Year's Day

Larry is strangely non-commital on David Lee

My Spider sense is tingling over a major deal(s) involving two of the three Knicks 05 draft picks.
