The Pacers were pretty good with him, u know Larry really got too much credit....the Nets beat the Pistons in the second round of the playoffs if Kidd was healthy they blew game six, and then they beat a Pacers team with a very hobbled Jermaine O'Neal, and the Next year Miami wins if Wade isn't injured, Larry no championships or finals berths....but at least ron has won a playoff series
But the Pacers were always right there and the guy is a winner and can carry a team, keep opening your mouth artest its the only way to get him here
If Prince does not "play the right way" and not block Reggies layup from behind (with fouling by the way) the Pistons don't win!
It takes a element of luck to make it to any finals series. Lets call it "breaks". It happens.
Bottom line is a team that is fundamentally prepared and can execute can take advantage of its "breaks".
Wade gets injured because he was over used? Coaching plays a role. Kidd returns from injury? you know he played well enough to make it back. A lessor player does not return like that to help his team.
Sure you can discredit Larry any way you want. Go on whats tangable. Artest is a child in a mans world. Larry is pressure tested.
Whom ever thought Larry was the savior has expectations that were too high.
