I'm just glad he's finally playing a position where he has the advantage on both ends rather than be overmatched at both ends playing SG and shooting 3-14 every other night. That too me shows Larry knows what he's doing as opposed to Chaney, Lenny & Herb

Unfortunate for you Craw has not had his better games at a Knick playing the point...He has been much better and more productive coming off the bench as a two guard not a starting point guard...Craw still makes alot bad decisions with the basketball...But I do have to give larry alot of credit for Craw's game...If there is one thing positive about this season, It's Jamal playing under control..Larry has has changed his game and this may be actually the only thing I see can be built on in the coming season...Let's hope he continues to work on his midrange game and add defensively to this team in the coming year...

I never said I'm ready to make him our starting PG. I'll judge after these last 11games and see if Crawford does a better job than Marbury at at running the team. So far he has...but as always his problem is consistency so lets see

Honestly, over the last several games, Crawford's seem more comfortable playing the point..

Since either marbury or Francis have been hurt, crawford has been doing a decent job running the point.. He's passing better and making better decisions out there.. Jamal now understands Larry's system and what's expected on the floor.. Team play or playing the right way..

HE even looks like a team captain by providing instructions to some of the players on the court during games.. You would have to actually be @ the games to really witness it..

LArry is grooming Crawford in being the type of player that can escalate on this team.. MArbury is done!!!!

Billups use to be an addicted chucker from the timberwolves or denver days but larry has him converted into more of a discipline player with better shot selection.

Thats really funny...So what is this based on anyway for my guide?..Certainly not victories right?

Maybe how competitive the Knicks look through the second quarter?

verses how competitive they look with stephon marbury. is crawford going to lead us to 50wins? NO but he can't stay whereas Marbury is long gone

Craw has been taking it to the hoop. He is very effective when doing so.

He has been up and down this season, but the "ups" are an improvement in the making.

He might be good trade fodder I am afraid.

Crawford has come a long long way. I think Larry is pretty happy with how he's playing. You can coach cutting down turnovers, you can't coach defensive effort and Craw has been giving that lately.

I would honestly be surprised if Craw wasn't starting for the Knicks next season.

I really like Crawford when he is playing well, and it says a lot that when he has a good game the Knicks win (unlike you know who). BUT, the AND1 passes gotta be cut down and the dude has to gain some weight and do whatever it takes to become a better defender.

i've notice some muscle definition on Crawford and he's jumping higher and dunking with authority, but it might just be me

I see some of that. He definitely looks less frail these days. To me the biggest thing, and this might sound nuts given how awful the team looks, is that he looks like a real pg/leader out there. He absolutely needs to cut down on the turnovers and dumb plays, but I see less of that and he seems focused. I don't know, maybe I'm insane, but I think Craw is a keeper.

you're not insane. Crawford and marbury never worked. Now that marbury is out of the picture Craw can do his thang as a PG as opposed to spotting up on a pass from Marbury and shooting 3/14 every other night from the SG position. Now he can focus on other things like defense, running and creating which he has been doing...gotta cut down the turnovers though

So now that he doesn't have to spot up for Js'he can concentrate on D? His poor D is Marbs' fault too? The how come he was so terrible when Marbs was out previously? High comedy.

because, unlike almost every other knick, he is learning how to play for Brown.

I hope you're right, but we've seen plenty of fool's gold from the man.
