NJ drafted jefferson and then obtain a superstar pg like Kidd, stoudamire gets drafted by phoenix then they pick up Pg. NAsh, Kobe goes to lakers in a draft trade then they pick up Shaq, denver drafts carmleo who's definitely their franchise star.. all they need to do is pick up a superstar and they'll make the conference finals @ best..

As of now, no one interesting is coming out of the draft that will make an immediate impact in the NBA.. Knicks had thier chances over the last 4 drafts excluding last yr.. Picking Marbury and declaring him the team's franchise player was a huge mistake..

right now, what would be best to do is pile up with savvy veteran' players that know what it takes to get to the next level..

The Trade that needs to be made Can still come Via draft. If anything IT has done, it's given himself enough chips to play with. Doesn't really matter that there all over paid, Isiaih can get it done if he's focus. If u look at isiah moves from a psitive stand ,( If u could find it in your heart) all he has done is add trading pieces. He has traded guy's for better talant, not fit. Without real thought, most of these trades seem good, van horn for tt, picking up a pg like steph after years of ward, eisley, and mark, curry, Jc, I mean these players are way better then the layden era. But with no nucleus, no familiarty, no defense, and no heart, these same talented players seem far worse then any team in the league and happens to be right now. The rating for this current knick squad on any NBA game is upper 80,s to low 90's, but this are not LBs players, and will not buy into that system if it's not an instant success.

I figure ( from a positive stand point) that IT and LB can get this ship right. At this point I would sacrifice and do everthing in my power to get a KG, L James, Oneal, Okafer, ect. They need to have some Vision and do there homework. Firing IT or LB is certainly not the solution.You guy's have seen it before, it doesnt take a roster overhual to change the mentality of a team, just a few good men.
