well, I think you just admitted that some players have not played hard this year. That's unprofessional and SHOULD be berated by coach, GM, other players, fans, media.

Let me know what players played hard last year and which players are doing it this year.

The fab can and left the program in worse shape.

Im talking culture, chemistry.

They messed it up.

That talent was incredible on that team. The chemistry was unable to be a champion.

And the me first generation was born.

Nalod please keep perspective, that were freshman playihg against a heavy senior team. I think you are making too much of this issue that's why I ask if you were Ohio State fan.

This league has transformed, and the good teams are the ones that work and play the hardest, on BOTH ends of the court. At some point this little tidbit has passed by such greats as Marbury, Mo Taylor, Jerome James and Jalen Rose. For others such as Curry perhaps they never had it.

You have got to share the ball. One on one play can only get you so far. You have to WORK the glass, you have to attack on defense as you do on offense.

Truley missing this simple truth is evidence enough the game has passed them by...

Fish one of your better posts ever. I agree 100%. Some fans, GM's and coach's are still stuck on this superstar mentality, but if you look around the league how many stars are actually leading their teams anywhere. Maybe TD(and his time is ending) is the only guy that can still carry a team of scrubs(not saying his team now are scrubs they are actually really good. Maybe lebron in the future. Other than that all these players need a team around them. All these guys need to work and lead their teams on and off the court. Those that don't continue to me mired in mediocrity. Guys that you mentioned still think they have accomplished somehting. You can't be a star unless you win. Taht's the only reason you play.

The only other guy I ever heard advertise his smallness was Howard Stern. My favorite line of his - "I'm hung like a pimple."

Yeah we were so good last year. Yes, they'll play harder if you let them do what they want - because they're the kind of selfish players that won't commit to the team. But in the long run you can't win with 'em anyways so what good is it.
