I just use that as one example of why some of the others just fizzle out. Caught up to them. Francis already went on record as saying he doesn't know his function on this team. After awhile all the jedi mind tricks begin to take its toll. My issue if it was just a Marbury thing that is fine but Brown has been mini brawls with nearly every player on this team at some point during the season. But new and old players to the roster. Riley earned respect, he doesn't have to tell someone to look at my resume. A person listen to him and see results, if it isn't working he doesn't pick at it until it does, he tries something else. Hey the Knicks quit on Nelson and played their asses off for JVG the same season. Don't know why, to me I just always sum stuff like that up to human nature. The most telling sign for me was when AD was traded and he faulted Brown for laying out a gameplan and have everyone on the same page. No doubt in my mind that Brown took any fun out of that team.

That's the problem Pharzeone, LB should not have to earn respect. He has won. These players have not. It is there job to earn respect from him, not the other way around. If you can't listent to the coach and do waht he says, expect to be benched, bitched about and disrespected. Don't expect him to kiss your arse and give you minutes and reward you. Life does not work that way.

Good luck with your job Pharzeone :)

He came here with a chip on his shoulder, to begin with. Are you telling me that Marbury didn't try to play for Brown like Brown wanted? None of these guys? Hey Brown has control he will get rid of the players he wants to who won't listen to him. I still don't understand the Francis trade because Brown had to know that Stevie was a younger version of Marbury but he said he wanted him. The same for Jalen. That's why I just assume that it wasn't about wins or losses anymore to Brown it was about educating the NBA to play his way.

That's what coach's do Pharzeone. That's there job. Coach's tell you what to do and you do it. If you don't like it, quit, tear up your contract and work 9-5.

I can't defend Marbury. If this was the first time he had an issue with a coach than I could defend him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt until he unleashed here. Now I'm not sure how you can take his side. He wants things his way. He wants the Knicks to be run his way. He has never won. So in supporting him you are basically saying you want this team to never win.

I don't want that. I want to win. LB has won. So in my view Steph can shut up and do it LB's way or else take his act elsewhere. We do not need to coddle guys making 15 mill a year.

Best logistical analysis I have ever heard when used in a basketball related argument.

the image that bothers me most is when IT fired chaney and had him escorted by security out of the building, chaney didn't deserve that, and that should of told me all I needed to know about IT and his ways...

so much for image, but that was a tasteless act. prior to zeke being named by dolan, when magic was in town and the next GM rumors were flying, magic did say knick fans derserved better.

imho, magic would have not had fans swallowing this kind of performance
