if you want to play Iverson at the 2, then you need a PG who will look to pass the ball first & that doesn't need the ball in his hands all the time... someone like Eric Snow was a good fit next to AI cuz he didn't care about stats & he played defense... neither Francis or Marbury fit that mold.

^They played that way because that was the personell they had. You have a potential 50+ points in your back court, and a shooter like Korver to open uo the middle and a passing big man like Webber, and if you have a center that doesn't demand the ball or have the credentials to bitch about not getting it (like Hunter) there are plenty of shots to go around, IMO.

Another thing is that Philly is bringing Willie Green back giving them a tough defensive guard off the bench (I LOVE Green's game too).

Funniest thing is I remember in the off season they were talking about moving Steph for Dalembert and everyone on this board but one or two people were literally flippin' their **** saying Zeke would be stupid to do that.

Good question, why is he unhappy? Lets bring in anohter guy whose motivation was corrupted by a big contract. He'd fit in great here.

Yep, and everyone who is on board for getting him would be killing Isiah and Brown in about a year for bringing in more guys like that. And if you remind them well, they were the ones crying for the trade, "yeah but I am not getting paid to be a GM." Fans.
Why is he unhappy in Philly after signing a huge contract extension? Why is he getting less and less PT? Brown wanted Francis, Francis didn't want NY or Brown, and now he doesn't play and Brown is fine with that. Enough is enough. Do research, talk to people, too bad Brown has sully his reationship within the Philly organization he could get some insight.

hey, if we do get dalembert and he doesnt work out, I'll be the first to admit that it was a mistake to want him and that I made a big misjudgment, but I dont think he was corrupted by a big contract. as far as I know he was putting up good numbers, before his injury, during witch time steven hunter took his spot.

Wait a minute, Stevie was Brown's doing. He wanted the guy. Isiah just made the deal for him. Isiah and Brown have said that Isiah will get the guys that Brown wants. He wanted Rose, got Rose, he wanted rid of Ariza and Penny, and wanted Francis, he got that, he wanted AD to stay in NY but when AD soured and ran into the stands, he had to sign off on saying goodbye to him in the Rose deal. So if anything why doesn't Brown let everyone in his great vision. If he is "weeding" out guys, then he needs to explain to them what is going on, talk to Francis about why you wanted him but don't want to play him. That's all Brown. I am glad the press is starting to figure out just how much say so, really has occur since Brown's arrival. Like Riley, Brown has the final say so and who he wants to get.

Actually were just an extension of the circus "The greatest show on Earth". If we keep making headlines, drawing attention, selling tickets and jerseys--thats what it is all about to them! Isiah is the ring leader LB is the lead clown and Dolan is the peanut guy
