Anyone notice how often Curry has been benched lately. Anyone else notice an effort level increase, better rebounding more activity on defense and better passing out of the double team. He was handed minutes for 5 years. Now he's finally learning.

Nate improved dramatically on his decision-making, defense and mid-range shot
Lee improved on his ball-handling, passing and shooting
Frye improved on defense, shot-blocking and rebounding
Curry improved on his post-presence, passing out of double-teams and rebounding
Qyntel improved on his rebounding and awareness
Crawford improved on his decision-making, defense and awareness

All these young dudes whose minutes have been volatile have improved. I agree that by refusing to merely hand them minutes LB is teaching them lessons about the importance of improving on their deficiencies. Of course, there are those who will insist that they would have improved more with more minutes, but what are you gonna do? People will think what they want to think.

I was watching the rewind, and Bosh didn't start to really get anything going on Frye until the end of the 3rd quarter, but Frye was also scoring at this time. Frye was having a very good game until that incident.
Frye at least played Bosh to a standstill if not outplayed him. I think the scoring was even when he left and Frye had more rebounds and blocks. Of course Bosh is the better player, but they were playing to a standstill.

I definitely find that to be a good thing. Having a rival, something to amp you up just a little extra. Builds character.
