Start by sending Steve Francis to the Lakers with David Lee for Lamar Odom, this one breaks my heart because I think that Lee is going to be a very good player, but you need to get role players that can play within a team concept....

If Seatle falters they may seriously consider trading Ray Allen who can put a team on his back and carry them, move jalen Rose with Nate Robinson for Ray Allen.....they get a local kid and serious cap relief

Move Jamal Crawford with the Spurs pick for Antonio Daniels, crawford really needs to go and his defense is terrible they may bite on the deal....

Tell Jerome James and Eddy Curry if they don't come into camp in shape and 20 pounds lighter we are going to fine them until they are in playing shape for conduct detrimental to the team......Frye just needs time in the gym

Marbury is not going to be traded so we have to stick it out with him.......

Curry/James/Butler
Odom/Frye
Woods/Q
Allen/ Gansey or Boone
Marbury/Daniels

I think that is the best we can hope for and Odom can be the perfect compliment

Lamar Odom is a 6'10 Marbury but even worst at least Marbury gives you the impression that he wants to win. Riley recognized that one right away with Odom during Wade's injury. Credit him for moving him while killing him for taking back a fat man in Shaq's jersey.

I would say I have no idea under the Dolan plan. I see no way to fix this mess w/out major contract dumping, and a traditional rebuild around youth and cap space. But Dolan is not into that, so in my humble opinoin just tradin for players that are "avialable" will not get us any futher then where we are. We have gotten every "available" player from the past 2-3 years, and it got us a progressively worse record every year. Even the one we actualy made the playoffs in a horrid leastern conference.

I think the best thign that can happen now is for the team to gell into somethign resembling a basketball franchise and just try to holdon to the few young players with some actual promise that we have.
