Anyone can look back and second or third-guess guess a move made two years ago. It doesn't require an ounce of thought.

Now, if you want to impress someone - predict how the Knicks perform exactly 12 months from this exact date.

What's tomorrow's lottery number?

eViL is right. Islesfan was saying this 12 months ago. At this point he's do some credit for being right.
When you predictions come true we'll give you credit too.

That's a good thing, right?

For the record, I've been following the Knicks since 1967.

Nothing this franchise does, from the days of Gulf+Western to the present, surprises me.

Just for the record, I could care less about Islesfan, or myself for that matter, being right. I want this franchise to get its collective act together. That's from Dolan on down to the person who answers the phones.

To be certain, NO ONE predicted this would be an under 15-win squad in March.

No one.

I think one poster predicted 28 wins (I forget who). That's the closest so far.

Back to the topic, I rather be wrong and have the Knicks win a championship. But the sad fact is I was wrong at the start of the season when I predicted they would win 47 games. Ask anyone who's been here long enough. I've been an optimist to the fullest. The reality is that the team is terrible. I'm not gonna stick to one side just because I wanna be faithful to my original position. This team is bad. The management is bad. Isles is not using hindsight. He's said it all along. I don't care that he's been right. I'm just giving credit where credit is due.

I appreciate the credit that some have given me but I have to admit that I haven't been completely right. I said that we'd be mired in mediocrity under Isiah and not in this total abyss that we're in now. Although I did say from the beginning that Isiah would ruin this franchise for at least a decade which he's doing.

I also said:

That the Marbury trade was bad because we gave up too much and took back too high of a price for a selfish career loser.

That Tim Thomas was the epitome of a loser while everyone defended him.

That the Crawford trade was bad because he's an undisciplined gunner who doesn't know how to play team basketball and it was too much money.

That Nate the Grate was just a freakshow and would be lucky to be a good role player in the NBA

That Frye, while a nice jump shooter, was too soft.

That Lee would be nothing but an energy guy off the bench.

That the Curry trade would go down as one of the worst of all time because we gave up WAY too much and he's lazy and has no desire to be better than he is much less be great. It's simple, I'd rather have 3 good (not even great) players (1 lottery pick, 1 potential lottery pick next year and 1 of either 2 high 2nd rd picks, Sweetney or whoever we could have traded for TT's expiring contract) than 1 good one.

That Jerome James was a ridiculous signing.

That Vin Baker was a ridiculous signing.

How did those things work out?

SO what do you want? You're one conceited man, who won't rest untill everyone knows you predicted something and parts of it happened to come true. It's really not that great as you think. The Knicks could have done 3 things..been really bad, a good team or a mediocre team. Congratulations you won a game of 3 card monte.

Additionally, Frye is still a great pick. Lee is still a good pick. Nate's decent. Jury's out on Curry. I don't really miss anything we gave up for MArbs. I can't believe you actually want props for 'predicting' Vin Baker and Big Snacks' would go badly. And there were PLENTY of TT doubters.
