Odom isn't a super star. He's a star role-player. You guys keep scremaing that we need role players. Odom is arguably the best role player in the league.

Odom is a better rebounder, passer, scorer and ball handler than Reggie Evans. No to Evans. Get Odom!

And I wish you guys would stop with this theory that Odom isn't tough minded. BROWN LOVES ODOM WHICH MAKES HIM A BROWN PLAYER. BROWN PLAYERS ARE USUALLY TOUGH MINDED. SO WHY DON'T YOU BELIEVE IN THE COACH YOU GUYS GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO DEFEND?

I agree he is a player that we desperatly need whatever it takes to get him, I think the only way this team makes any real improvement is by getting rid of Marbury if everyone hates playing with him as evidence by players comments and Q threatening to kill him it would be an instant improvement to team chemistry....

I like Butler a lot but if you have to give up asset to get rid of steph you do it.....Steph, Butler, and Denvers pick would be fine with me for Odom, and remember there are teams out there that like francis so he can be moved eventually....

You bring Frye off the bench behind Curry because he is going to add muscle in the offseason, and you get Lee to back up Odom at the four and maybe see a little time at the three if he works on his game this summer....

Q I think would benefit by losing a little bulk to his frame, but he does rebound and defend, I would also see if you could move Crawford perhaps for Antonio Daniels for added defense off the bench, or maybe even to seatlle for earl watson in the offseason....

Francis/Daniels
Q/Nate
Rose/Lee
Odom/Rose
Curry/Frye

Let Jalen expire at the end of the year unless you can get a player in a salary dump like Francis was dumped but only take them if you have a need, and then look for defensive role players because we have enough rebounding with that lineup and good energy off the bench

Getting odom is like getting 2-3 players. Odom can play the 4, the 3, he can play point forward, he could even guard a center for a few possesions depending on the opposition.

Odom is also a ball-mover which is what Larry wants on this team.

I'm with acquiring Odom @ 3 man.. but this thread was about the 4 spot.

Reggie Evans is a thought for a rugged PF (Partial MLE)... But what about Andris Biedrens from GS? I think I'd prefer his high energy, impact on D over Evans' power presence. We'd have to trade a nice package to get him, But I do think Biedrens would be a change of pace type of player for us and would be worth it! Maybe we could get Pietrus in a larger package. That being said, Evans might be the better compliment when considering the marginal Defense of our Curry/Frye combo.

I'd trade Francis or Marbury at this point to LA Lakers for Odom and Aaron Mckie, no question about it. Not so much because Odom is better than either of those two.. More of the reason for team balance and what Lamar Odom would bring to this team's style of play!

My Odom rant was in response to someone trying to down-him up at the the top of the page.
BTW, Odom mostly played the 4 in Miami, with Jones and Butler on the wings.
