the calls against Curry have been more frustrating for me... i mean the guy can literally just breathe on a guy & he gets called for a foul on both ends of the floor... how can we expect the guy to get into any sort of rhythm on the floor if he's going to be in constant foul trouble? of course, it's not always the refs, it's Curry's blumbering footwork too, but sometimes he gets some ridiculous calls against him for real.

I definitely agree with that. Curry is so much bigger than the guys guarding him. It's going to happen every time just like Shaq. Except they never call offensive fouls on Shaq

every team in the league can cry to the ref's.

while it's no question that the knicks did their share to lose the game down the stretch last night, i also think the refs "missed" a lot of calls, potentially costing us 6 to 10 points.
Who's shooting too much now?

I agree, curry does cause a lot of his problems but he gets killed by the refs, the problem with guys like curry, he doesn't flop, but I thought offensive fouls were supposed to be called if the offensive guy uproots a stationary defender in order to get the advantage. So in other words, curry doesn't have to act like a 170 pound guard just mack trucked him over, we all know that is not happenning, but if he drives into curry who has position, stationary position, it should be a offensive foul. Flopping should be discouraged at all cost...

I'll add my COMPLETE support of what you're saying TKF. I've been noticing this for along time and I think a lot of it is the losing and the players we have. We have the kind of guys who people don't feel any love for. Steph NEVER gets as many calls as he deserves. I mean its unreal how often he gets mugged and there's no whistle. I think last night he just got so fed up and it blew up at the wrong time. Steph was wrong to argue the call, but I can understand it after watching him get touch fouls and no calls on his drives when he was getting hammered. I'm hoping that as this team gets better that the calls will swing our way. This year we can just forget it tho, cuz with our record no Ref is gonna give us the call unless its blatant.

I agree, and maybe it is that our players don't get any love, but if that is the case then all it shows me is that the refs are influenced by one thing or another when calling our games and to me that is not fair.....

But it's always been that way. I guarantee when the Knicks are a winning team they get calls against the lesser teams - do you whine then. It's part of the game - worry about clearing your own head.
