I think with the addition of Francis he can save face next year--although as he says it was all LB on that one.

Id be looking at bringing in atleast 2 athletic guys who are 6-10+ a another speed guard like marcus banks so we can always have 2-3 penetrators on the floor at all times.

Something like Gadzuric and josh Boone[im trying to be realistic]

ie. SA pick + Mo Taylor for Gadzuric
Nate Denver pick + cash=Boone

this sounds very reasonable and actually doable. And don't think for a moment that the Knicks won't try to parlay Rose's contract near the trade deadline.

The only problem is that it'll be parlayed into some other overpriced stiff who LB has no use for but it'll come with the 25th pick in the 07 draft and we'll all be told how great it is to have 2 picks in the 20's when the Bulls are using our lottery pick on Greg Oden.

no man, LB is approving each and every aquisition these days. Isiah is handcuffed in the absolute final decisions.

You seriously believe that?!? You seriously think LB wanted Rose and Francis? They're probably the 2 players that were widely available that I'd think LB would least want.

He's also an unrestricted FA
meaning he has no team. Minny is at 55mm now for next year with only 8 guys signed, no way they can trump the offer $ wise.

Marcus Banks==25 years old smart use of MLE or something close to it

Plus they have a ton of money tied up in guards. Jarik, Hassle and Hudson are all locked up for several years I believe.

I'm so on the Banks bandwagon. Hell.. if we could add him and Reggie Evans I might actually have a positive outlook on 06-07

O interest in Reggie Evans. If i want Reggie evans, I just draft paul millsap, hes a better version of him with pick 28. I would rather have length Id like to see if milwaukee would like to get rid of gadzuric

Lets review

Steph, Craw, and Francis no defense in the backcourt

Frye-tries but is slow footed and not a great on ball defender

Curry couldn't care less and might not be able to even spell defense no joke

And did someone reference Villanova playing four guards in college basketball where half the teams don't have 3 players over 6'9, lets be realistic thats probably why isiah made the deal

see im not even remotely interested in odom. Look at villanova this year--put 2-3 spped guards on the floor along with post players who can score--curry frye and SB boone Gadzuric--intangible player lee 3 pt specialist Q and hopefully craw can improve to give consistent limited minutes.
