Is it possible to acknowledge Brown coaches veteran teams very well and to still be disappointed with his playing time of almost every young player on the team? The two don't seem mutually exclusive to me. I have no doubt that Larry is one of the best coaches at maximizing what he gets out of veterans. That doesn't mean I love seeing DNP-CDs for David Lee, Nate Robinson, Jackie Butler. This has nothing to do with assigning blame for this season. I'd give the most blame for the season to Cablevision/Dolan, 2nd most to Isiah, and 3rd most to Larry. That doesn't mean I think it's smart for the future of the team for all our good young players except Frye to get DNP-CDs.

Brown is Old School. Mostly he feels that rooks should sit on the bench for a year, practice really hard, and be fully ready to play spot minutes in garbage time. That's all.

You're happy with that? How do you know it's just one year and he won't sit the sophomores next year because they're still young and Malik and Mo are around? What other coaches are sitting good young players so inferior veterans can play?

Warrick barely plays for the Czar. Granger hardly played until injuries demanded he get a role. It does happen.

I feel it shouldn't happen on a team this bad though. Especially when our rookies have some of the best attitudes and bball IQs on the team.

In the NFL, and NCAA Men's basketball, coaches are more important the individual players...In the NBA, it's all about the players...I have never seen Larry Brown score a basket....You can believe Brown is the answer to any problem....He has proven he is not....I will watch Brown run this team into the ground with his stubbornness, selfishness, and utter disregard for a player self respect...How many guys you think wil run through a wall for this guy....You really believe you can rip these guys in the press and call them stupid and have them play harder for you.....

Thats a new one on me......
