Jalen Rose is still an expiring contract.....maybe they feel Miles is not worth the trouble. Anybody know who is available next year? Jalen can still be dealt for Miles or Garnett or whoever becomes available next year with Jalens contract.

So please STFU about it.......no need for the hate. Save that for Pres. Bush the Anti-Christ, PataKKKi and Doomberg.

First off, FYI, I don't hate anyone. Second off, I don't want Darius Miles on the Knicks! Thirdly, no, we didn't trade for Eisley, but it's the same breed as Layden, just an upgrade in talent, but no substance over style. And lastly, I've said a million times, I LIKE Jalen Rose as a player. But now that the circumstances are the way they are, that trade is looking worse. Isiah has not made the team any better with expiring contracts. The talent is sexier, but the team is worse. And draft picks are nice too, but they don't mean crap, if they don't develop.

Again, I like some of the players Isiah has gone after, but look where the team is, and that's what's important. We suck.

because Zeke wasted an expiring deal on a stop gap when there were young, able players like Miles available. and because it creates a glut of guys of guys who need 15 shots a game to be effective.
It wasn't the *best* use of the expiring contract but I don't think it was a bust either. I think of a bust as somethin that had very high promise but in the end really damages an organization.

you left off what i usually said after that...jamal should start at pg, i don't know if he could do it or not, but let's try him it out b/c this team should be rebuilding already and it's time to "TURN THE PAGE".

one question, can you sit here and defend this? i understand everyone needs and WANTS to believe that there is a plan, just for sanity's sake...but you really have to question if there really is...

3 very good ballhandlers, who can play with or off the ball, can take over a game, can successfully penetrate, can score 20+, can draw the doubleteam, can setup the bigs, can take big shots, can get to the foul line.

I would like to see Marbury and Francis average 20 FTAs a game and get all opposing big men in foul trouble. It's very simple: If Francis plays hard (a big if), this trade was an undeniable huge steal for us.

you have watched them play before right? i mean, you know that each one needs to dribble the ball for at least 10 seconds a piece before they're able to do anything, be it look for their shot or initiate the offense. and their instinct is to look for their own shot.

it will be interesting to see how it all works out.

Jamal start at PG? that is CRAZY. I've seen what he can do as a PG and he sucks. In my opinion he is best as 3rd guard coming off the bench giving this team instant offense. If his shots not falling that night then his minutes decrease. Kind of like a henry bibby type of player or vinnie johnson.

Jamal should start at PG...in the WNBA. I don't know if he's tough enough for that. The opponents probably have more balls than he does!

jamal is coming off the bench. That's what he was excelling at when we won. He only started because steph went down. the kid has a whole 30 games more to prove to us that he can get back to that 6th man of the year status.
