I wish, but I don't see them going for that. Think about it, Penny and ariza both come off the books this summer. So basically, they would be giving us Miles and a lotto pick for cap space and a late first round (mind as well be a second round) pick.

Miles has only played 17games this yr, just finished surgeory(spell?) and has a long contract. He has played like 40+ & 60 games the last 2 seasons. He is an injury problem and again has a long contract. Ratliff is finished and has 2yrs left at 11mil a yr. Plus we have Curry, James, Butler. I know James is usless but Ratliff would ensure that James would just sit on the bench and be good for nothing and Butler would get no time.

The Francis deal is probably the only solid deal out there since he will allways be movable especially in the offseason. What could Francis or Marbury, 2 draft picks, J.Rose & Taylor's ending contracts dangled land us in the offseason??

But I don't think Isiah is going to be able to trade for Francis without giving up a draft pick.

I don't want Miles or Ratliff. And please don't waste Penny's contract on that, we have to be able to get more for it.

the trade deadline's thursday... time's running out to get any value out of Penny's contract... he's got to use it in the next few days, or let it go to waste.

Why fool with portland unless they are ready to take penny for ratliff and their unprotected lottery pick. Make them pay for all that salary cap space, why is it that we have to do teams favors and then take it up the rear for doing it. It is like telling someone, I will let you wash all this mud and dog shyt off my car, and in return you will pay me 100 dollars for doing it....
