Fortson & Evans make sense if you can get rid of Big Turd & Malik... otherwise, how exactly will they help this team alot? they're just role players... guys like KMart can make an impact on both ends of the floor, but key is staying healthy... that's a legitimate concern, but if you're willing to take the risk, then you stand to reap much higher rewards as well... Fortson & Evans are not impact players.

Right, they may not help A LOT, but I think they would be very useful players for us. And of course, I assume that we are sending Malik to Seattle to get them.
I don't agree K Martin would make a great impact. Yes, we would play better defense, but we are losing games because our guards can't defend anyone, not because of players like Gasol or Brand are getting 40 points against us, so I don't think we would win a lot of more games with him. IMO the impact he would make is similar to Jalen's.

we have no shotblockers, & no one who defends well in the post... KMart does both things well, plus he can rebound, runs the floor, is an emotional leader, & doesn't take crap from anyone... i think he'd make a MAJOR impact on the Knicks, but again, it all depends on him staying healthy.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

nate will be gone by the deadline. of this, i have no doubt.

Nate might not be a good match here, but I do believe as Nate matures, he will become a good back up PG. he can get seperation at will, he can play defend 94 feet, he has very good fundamentals on his shot--what needs to happen is 2-3 years of honing the skills and understand this is the nBA and not college--he has to transfer his game to the back up 1---where the pass is more important than the shot. using his ability to seperate then kick it or drive and dump

hes a young kid who plays out of control and out of position right now.

I'm tired of talking about these guys.....something has got to be done....the Knicks are a lost team cuz the players don't fit what Larry wants to do. A Flurry of trades need to go down....at least 3 more between now and the off season......I'd like to see something done sooner rather than later.

Isiah seems to be waiting until the night of the deadline (11:59) and hope a Gm gets desperate enough to take back our slop for an impact player.

Isiah hasn't hesitated yet on a trade so i think he is just trying to pimp someone.

Kenyon and Watson to me makes alot of sense. K-Mart has the knees but I think that is moore of a arthritis thing that he could play through. He's complained about Andre Miller holding onto the ball to much.....George Karl has been complaining about him too and has annoyed K-Mart. I think K-Mart wants to be traded. Larry is a ball buster but I think a change of scenery with Larry Brown who fits his style of play would be a great mix.

But if Penny Hardaway is the guy being traded for Kenyon then the Knicks gotta move Taylor. I'd rather see Taylor go to Denver than Penny. Taylor has just an extra year then he is out.

Liek I said something has got to give sooner than later I hope.

Taylor and Jamal for Kenyon and Watson should be what the Knicks are trying to do rather than move Penny......

Denver needs Jamal Craws offense to help out Carmelo.....Taylor still gives them cap relied off of Kenyons contract. Taylor probably would be better suited in a Karl offense anyway.

you just made a case NOT to get kmart.

arthritis? that's the difference between h20 and jkidd/webber. they're still playing. h20 couldn't b/c of arthritic knee.

miller holding the ball too much? holy schnikeys, he's gonna love steph.

lb's style of play? which is what exactly? kmart excelled with kidd in the open court, umptempo. which is the antithesis of what lb's doing here.

I'd rather go after Odom myself. Out of all the players I've heard (Kmart, Francis, Watson) Odom makes the most sense. He's younger, he's a ball mover and can play multiple positons. Didn't Brown say he wanted Ball movers and a forward who call play Sf and PF? Odom would be perfect but I cant see moving Frye for him

Odom plays decent D, but not really enough. It would be nice to have a defensive intimidator like Kmart here. But I don't like trading for a 28yr-old with banged up knees who is signed until he's 34.

btw, cleveland and denver should really make a deal this summer:

larry hughes + drew gooden for earl watson + kmart

i think that works and helps both teams.

Larry Hughes is the best player in that deal though. I don't know, I think Bron needs a ball handler/slasher to help spread the floor.
