I agree with Stephen A. Smith on this one. LB is teflon with the media probably because he is so accomodating and "honest" with them, of course unless it pertains to himself. He has done diddly squat for this team this year. We are horrible and haven't improved. A great coach gets through to his players and makes them better. Surely the Knicks roster is better than last year's roster. Why is the record so much worse?
Then you have the Mike Francescas of the world. Long Beach Larry and Mike just so happen to have both grown up in Long Beach. So LB gets the Parcells treatment from Mike. You know, "Hi buddy, how's the team? Boy those players sure do stink, don't they? You sure are above it all."
Stephen A has the balls to take on LB and call a spade a spade. LB is part of the problem. He hasn't offered no solutions.

Why don't the Knicks have a mascot? What would be an appropriate mascot for this Knicks team?

I watched Pat Riley do more with less talent as far as I am concern. The guy spent the better part of his tenure taking all type of shots at his best player who played his ass for him (Marbs has to be loving this). He spent more time in front of a mic than he has coaching up his veterans. To me this is an ongoing issue with Brown, who I thought was exposed in both the finals and the Olympics. By the way for all the talk that this team doesn't have a great roster, Brown wouldn't play them if he had his choice, see the 04 Olympics if anyone disagrees. Lebron, Stoudamire and Anthony all took shots at Brown. That's high profile names saying you are out of touch. Isiah is to blame for assemblying this roster and hiring his coaches but I seen so call lesser coaches do more with less. Why has Ariza regressed? Why is Frye playing less and less.
