the thing is Odom is a hig caliber talent and will fetch a nice price from anyone. The problem is we take on a bigger risk than any other team. Essentially he costs us extra because of the risk. He's also a drug violation away from a 2 year ban I believe, and being a NYer we know he likes the club scene. I will pass, but only because of the cost.

I would keep Frye at all costs.

edit: shouldn't it tell people something about Frye that Denver, Indiana and LAL have all made major offers to get him?

I want to Keep Frye. I want to develope players, not give them up too soon.

Oh-Dumb is a nice player, but not one I want to bank on. I htink he might propser on a team with an already winning culture.

We need polished players to build that culture.

Craw, nate, Marbs, Mo. T are not those kind of guys. Curry is neutral kind of persona. Frye, and DLee should be untouchable. Keep QDog as he looks good so far. I want Smart young dudes that can help build it.

Oh-Dumb can hang here, but he gotta come cheap.

We need to stop the "chicago" thing too. The "isiah likes Chicago guys" is over done.

I'd like Odom. He has a well rounded game. We need guys who do more than one or two things well. We shouldn't give them Frye, but for the right deal, I'd like to bring him here.

It's weird... I'm worried that Larry Brown will crush the psyches of the young Knick players much like he did with Darko, so much so that they lose confidence and never reach their potential.

I've loved odoms game since the rode Island days, But bringing him home i don't know about that. He did have a weed problem not to long ago. Can he handle coming home and hanging out with his boyz.

I think Odom would be happier in NY than in LA. But I would never give up Frye to get him.
