Actually this is a deal that I would like. Eddie J is still a very good defender. I remember watching him lock down Vince last year in the playoffs. IMO he was the reason Miami/Wade were able to do what they did and swept the Nets. Unfortunately, he is such an integral part of the system that Memphis runs. Does Memphis have any players that need to be resigned this year, maybe they will need cap space? That's the only way I see it happening.

By the way, hello again Andrew and Martin.

EJ is playing close to 30 MPG for Memphis. They say no.

Also, I'd rather move Steph for EJ and change.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Memphis would not want Steph especially at that price. He is making in 3 yrs what Gasol is getting over the life of his contract. Fiscal irresponsibility is NY's burden to bear alone.

If the Knicks didn't get Jalen I wouldnt mind going after Eddie as a plan B......I don't like the idea of getting both players. Rose stablizes the team but Eddie would actually knock out all of the minute left over.

I wouldn't be mad if the trade happened.....but I would rather let Penny walk or at least wait to see if a team is willing to trade away a big time talent in their prime.

this is crazy--this is not how the NBA works. eddie jones has been their most consistent defender and hes played well. Memphis is 26-19--they are not breaking down players--they likely want to add to win!

what you are looking for is a team that might want to add a taylor--perhaps we can drop some $$$ and maybe pick up a couple of 2s

OR the massive Penny ender would likley go to a team that scks, but it would have to make a LOT of sense--as in a player who can play + a pick

is there a decent point guard with a contract similar to that of eddie jones?
i would really like to see a pure pg backing up marbs or even being able to move marbs to the sg position.

We simply can't move Penny without clearing out roster spots for these draft picks that are coming in next year.

Problem is, I can't think of a trade where we can ship out multiple players without losing everone's favorite youngsters.

It would have to be something like Mo and 2 of the young guys for R. Lewis, Fortson and a pick. Doesn't team Cablevision have a $ limit at some point though?

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
