Compared to Broussard or Mitch Lawrence or Vecsey, yes, this type of game analysis is insightful. Or perhaps you prefer articles where the author is obviously in love with his own writing and can care less about saying anything but the obvious.

What's obvious is that you are trolling.

Who the hell is "James Jones"

LOL thats a good question! Haha, not even the press remembers the real name of Big Game anymore...

James Jones is the SF on PHX. I wish we'd gotten him instead of Jerome James. Maybe that was a clever joke by Charlie Rosen. More likely, the dude is out of touch with the league.

Rosen is a jerk but all this is true until the veteran team Isiah assembled shows they can win some games.

You can look at any NBA game and find instances of "dumb" plays--if your team wins nobody remembers.

How does 5 1st rounders in a 2 yr span and Eddy at 23, Q Woods at 24 qualify as a veteran team? Does any team have more 1st rounders in that same span? I'm not even saying I like the roster. It has HUGE problems still. But it's mostly a young team with just a few guys past their primes.

If you want to start making qualifications and excuses as to why a team has the record it does we have plenty of them too.

Okay, let me start: The coach hasn't commited to playing his best players, or installed a playing style that suits their abilities.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I would have been embarrassed to sign my name after those comments.

You sign your name like Mary Catherine Gallagher says "Superstar" after a performance. It's funny.

I think it's funny that you are sweating me.

Listen up Knight:

Think about it, do you really want to get into a personal back and forth with me? It'll get ugly real quick I promise you.

You can talk basketball can't you? You so rarely do.

***

Why don't we bring it back to basketball:

If you want to start making qualifications and excuses as to why a team has the record it does we have plenty of them too.

The EXPANSION Charlotte Bobcats have been MISSING THEIR BEST PLAYER (Okafor) and their top pick who got decent minutes for HALF THE SEASON and they are 2 GAMES behind the Knicks.

I would have been embarrassed to sign my name after those comments.

So the coach does not bear any responsibility? Why do the W's and L's go on his record then? Please, let's hear your qualifications that absolve the coach.

I'm waiting.

^New team, new players, new system, injuries, rookies, New York City, lawsuits... Nobody is absolved from responsibility. BTW, why don't you name the best players LB is not playing and what system he should run for these guys. That would be funny to hear.

I have gone on the record too many times explaining what I believe Brown has done wrong to recount it here for you.

***

I knew you would not be able to name any specifics, instead you dumped a slew of generalisms:

New team, new players

Starting off with repetition? Isn't it the coaches' job to integrate the team?

new system

There is a system? Half the problem is that the system changes from game to game! What is the system?!

injuries

The Knicks have had some injuries. Nothing special compared to the rest of the league. Try again.

rookies

The rookies have been better than the guys playing in front of them, such as Rose and AD, please explain that.

New York City

Now New York City is causing the Knicks to have a terrible team when the last 5 years they had less talent and better records? Please, Mr. Milwaukee, please explain how NYC is causing the bad record.

lawsuits

Lawsuits have hurt the Knicks record? You mean in the last week? Let's get real.

In closing, you could not name one legitimate reason why the Knicks would be in the same won/loss range as an expansion team missing their best player for half the season.

New team: never coached these players before.
New players: players who haven't played together before.
New system: players learning a new system and way to play.
Injuries: Curry, Q, Marbury.
Rookies: Just too much to learn so quickly. Make alot of mistakes.
New York: Are you saying playing in NY is the same as playing in Charlotte?
Lawsuits: AD, Isiah, Marbury, just a distraction.

It all adds up and it has a snowball effect.

I have gone on the record too many times explaining what I believe Brown has done wrong to recount it here for you.

Hmmmm, I don't remember that gem, must have been forgettable.

I agree that all these things factor in big time. Bottom line the national media is never going to qualify a loss, they only celebrate the winners.

New team: never coached these players before.

Okay, well I guess that part is on the coach. One would expect the team to get better, but after the 6 game win streak where LB played his best players in a style that suited them, he backslid into crazy rotations and an incosistent game plan.

New players: players who haven't played together before.

And they still are not allowed to play 'together', becuase LB flips the minutes/starts/game plan constantly.

New system: players learning a new system and way to play.

What is the system? Come on, stop avoiding the question!

Injuries: Curry, Q, Marbury.

The team was TERRIBLE before Marbury got injured, and he only got injured a few games ago, so I don't see how you can factor that in. Curry was hurt early on--but they did not start winning when he came back! Q: When Q does have a good run, LB sits him and doesn't let him back in. But overall, he is serving the team better when he sits.

Rookies: Just too much to learn so quickly. Make alot of mistakes.

Rookie do make mistakes. And if they could get some consistency from their coach, maybe they could put it together on the floor. (Like when he did play them consistent minutes/style for that winning streak a while back.) Instead, they are playing with one eye on the basket and the other on the bench.

New York: Are you saying playing in NY is the same as playing in Charlotte?

Are you answering a question with a question because you have no answer? It makes me think you don't know anything about NYC. I'll ask again: How is NYC causing the Knicks to play worse?

Lawsuits: AD, Isiah, Marbury, just a distraction.

Again, the Knicks were TERRIBLE before there were any lawsuits.

Hmmmm, I don't remember that gem, must have been forgettable.

Actually it wasn't one gem, it is a discussion that has spanned weeks and many threads. You probably missed it because it was a basketball discussion, and not really a place for snyde remarks and nasty comments that are totally unrelated to basketball.

Superstar!

No answer from Knight? Simply an insult? How surprising!

I knew your knowledge lacked the depth to back up your convictions.

You should stick to extolling how "those people" in New Orleans are responsible for being stranded because "they" "don't know how to act"

Enjoy yourself at the rally.

Amusing that you add an exclamation mark when you write superstar...just more evidence that you are sweating me...

It was at that point when I realized dude is clueless. And it doesn't stop at basketball. It continues on to much more profound issues in the world. Sad.
