LOL.. I feel ya, but it is when I have to pay more money to get the league pass, year after year and attend knicks games......

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

Explain how the cost of NBA league pass is influenced by whether Toronto vs. NY pays Rose's salary.

Now we officially have no defense on this team.
"Now"? Rose is a below average defender but he's not nearly as bad as Jamal and not nearly as easy to shoot over as Nate. I think we'll have "less bad" defense now. I wouldn't have done this deal without the draft pick, though. And even then it's only a slightly good deal. If it's Denver's pick, I'd give Isiah a B- on this trade.

B- ... oh, that overachiever! He's gotta stop trying so hard, take it easy a little bit.

Its a good trade from a basketball standpoint regardless. The pick is long-term, and Jalen is here for two years and then hopefully released without acquiring our next expiring deal. No effect on cap room. Its a win-win. Cost-benefit wise, of course, it depends on the pick, and the move becomes ore uncertain. Profits aside, I have a feeling Jalen will impact our basketball team in the short-run and make the experience slightly more palatable, without affecting our strategy to acquire championship pieces in the coming years.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

we'll have to take a wait and see. were not getting past 28 but this one can go anywhere from 26 to 1

If Denver's pick is 15 to 20 and SA's is 28 or 29, we should be able to trade those two for a higher pick or should be able to get two good role players with those picks.

I wish they sent a useless player like Hardaway over there.... Ant's leadership was his best quality!

I don't mind seeing AD go at all. It's hard to believe he would come back next year (if he even played). The season is blown, so I'd rather get the young guys experience. Our front court needs a ton of work, this will give them a chance to develop.

I think Jalen can be a very adequate starting SG for the next 12 months, by which point he'll probably be traded. That's just the Dolan way!

So we we finally give in to the idea of adding Rose. Yeah!! And we get a pick, which most likely isn't Toronto's and could be lottery protected. Im sorry if right now I can't be excited about anything this team does...

I think Jalen will provide a similar leadership and he is the type of player who can score to help weather some of these runs we are always allowing.

One of the big problems with this team is it's a bunch of kids or young vets who lose confidence easily (Craw and Q). They need a steadying hand. I think Marbury and Jalen will play well off each other. Obviously, the defense will still suck unless Frye and Curry and Lee make adjustments.

This year, Rose lost his motivation, but last year he averaged 18 PPG and was HUGE in clutch moments for Toronto. This year I think the fact that he was constantly subjected to trade rumors took a lot out of him.

Sas says its the denver pick.

Davis for rose makes even more sense cuz AD is holding the team back.

With rose hopefully the knicks will never have to see malik on the floor again.

My new line-up?

Taylor
Woods
Curry
Marbs
Jalen!

Q-rich is gonna have to fight with craw now. Both of them are too in consistant.

Ok rose has his backcourt help. And the front court is more solidified.

Let's at least get back the respect of the league.

That's what I'd do. With Frye being the first man off the bench. Jalen starts at PG while Marbury's out.

Shift Du Jour

Rose - a 6'8 guard making entry passes to Eddy

Qyntel - a 6'8 guard with range and hops

Lee - a 6'9 forward with rebounds

Frye - a 6'11 forward with a mid range shot

Curry - a 23 year-old 6'11 baby center

Are we big or what?

tkf - slip the cable dude a fifty and sit in the end zone of the blue seats.

BTW. Section 404 doesn't suck that bad
once a knick always a knick

I don't think Jalen is quick enough to play the 2, but he's probably better off there than at the three.

I wonder if the Theo/Ruben for Penny trade is next. I have a feeling it is.

Well back to talking about drafting Rudy Fernandez 6-6 SG from Spain. Ginobili like shenanigans on offensive except a hell of a lot more athletic. Man if I only bookmarked that thread from last year containing that site with all the international highlights. Remember the highlights of Petro, Splitter, Vazquez etc? Rudy Fernandez was unreal!
