I like Iggy but I'm not THAT high on him and wouldn't do that deal. Do the same type of deal where we give up Nate, Ariza, and SA #1 and we get Deng and now you're talking!

Just to elaborate: Iggy to me looks like Ariza with a jumpshot and maybe slightly better ball-handling. Deng to me looks like a poor man's Paul Pierce.

yet Iggy is the one who is a threat to go for 15 5 and 5 every night and Deng is simply a scorer. Go figure
I wasn't talking about stats, but I have to ask out of curiosity where you're getting that idea from. In 7 fewer mpg, Deng's putting up more points, rebounds, and blocked shots than Iggy.

Good question: Iguodala vs. Deng?

It was the subject of a good debate here:
http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=468269
It was a close vote: (19 for Deng and 14 for Iggy).

Personally I like Iguodala better. I think he has the potential to be a good scorer and a lockdown defender. Similar to what a lot of people thought Trevor Ariza "might" become.

ASSISTS. The assists along with the ability to rebound like a powerforward is what makes Pierce so dangerous. Igoudala has the same type of court presence.
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

How's a player averaging 12/5/2 a threat for 15/5/5 every night? That's like saying Marbury's a threat for 25/12/9 every night

Actually Igoudala's assist number is closer to 3. He is getting 2.7 this year, he averaged 3 last year.

Kidd is a triple double threat every night not because he averages one, but because of the way he plays. He attacks the boards he scores he is a premier orchestrator in the half court and transition.

Igoudala can score he attacks the boards and he looks for people when he gets the ball. Deng gets the ball and his first move is to score either by catch and shoot or he slashes. Rarely do you see Deng bringing the ball up-court or on the wings in the half-court setting up the offense. Both Pierce and Andre I do it nightly.

I can't see the Sixers even thinking about that trade.

1. They have Webber no need for Mo Taylor
2. Igoudala can do everything Ariza can do and more.
3. If Mash is coming off the books, why would the Sixer want to let his contract go when they haven't so far?
