I'm glad he's proving it because he was my favorite player before he started driving Shaq away.

Was it the right decision to leave him in to pile up more points once the outcome of the game wasn't in question? I don't really think that's good sportsmanship.

who cares. Somebody on the Raptors should've put him down if they were offended. That was the second greatest single game performance of all time.

give me a break..
why? It was an awesome performance. There's no need for me to state that. I guess I don't believe in stat padding.

There were newspaper reports at the time Kobe was drafted, that the Knicks could have traded for his rights, but refused to give up Oakley because they didn't want to take a step back to get better.

That's the kind of thinking that has led to a 33 year championship drought.

I'll take that as an EXTREME compliment since it wasn't even Knick related and was a comment I thought about for way less than a minute.

Wilt's had a few in the 70s and some guy named David Thompson once had 73.

if kobe wanted to, he can legitametly score 100+ in a game

perhaps, I'm not sold. as good as he is he has to be unconscious and lpay almost perfect to put up 100. He pretty much did that and got 82 tonight. 100 is still 18 points away, eiter way, thats **** is phenomenal.

YOu think they would have been a lottery team with Shaq last year? I'm sure they could have at least gotten Marbury, Pierce, someone at that level for Kobe. Would a Pierce/Shaq or Marbury/Shaq combo have missed the playoffs last year and be only around .500 this year? Maybe that combo would be less flashy than Kobe but Killa and I are talk about wins not flash.

OMG, just STFU already. Seriously. If Bonn were Joe Torre, he would have pulled Wells and Cone after being perfect for 8 innings because the game and good sportsmanship were more important than individual achievements.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System
