difference was we were losing then and KT was old and slow and hindering the development of others

No. I said that in the game thread with Mck1, its not an argument worth having. Luke had a career day yesterday, and we still won and Steph still played better just having a good game. There is no case to be made for Luke being better. The only aspect of the game Luke is better at is FT shooting and 3 point shooting. End of discussion.

hell yea I wanted KT gone! Now KT played hard and worked on his game and I appreciated him. I just thought he was old and we needed to go in a different direction. I think the Knick I have hated the most was Eisley. Even with Howard when when was taking all those crappy contested 3's I was rooting for them to fall! Just cause I think a guy is a bum doesnt mean I want him to stink and hurt the team.

BTW... there is NOTHING Ridnour does better than Marbury. Not a single facet of the game. He's weak. Marbury ate him up like a twinkie left around Jerome Jame's locker. What a joke. Ridour cant hold Brevin Knight's jock, much less Marbury's

I just don't see how wanting Kurt off the team is different than wanting Steph off. I don't want to hear about age or talent, they each add in certain ways and detract in others. But different strokes for different folks. People interpret my hate of steph as anti-knicks. On the contrary, I simply look forward to the team being without his distractions and putting it together with some guys I easily root for. Steph can sometimes take my breath away, i admit that, but that alone does not make him easy for me to root for, or make me think he's been a net plus for the team.

Some games he surely is, I wont deny he's helped win some games, but in the larger picture I think this team will go farther without him. At least the Steph of he past 9+ seasons. I can't speak to what the future may hold. Some of you just have a lot more patience with fusspots than me.

good posts...strange thread...I think i came in late, though I remember the game thread when it came up, but it still seems mck1 is the only one that thinks he's better than marbs.

Anyway, there will always be guys on the team that you don't like. Sometimes most posters will agree, sometimes not. You won't find many Tim Thomas defenders, maybe a few more Keith Van Horn defenders.

Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean you hope the team will lose.
