if you were Isiah, would you want to take Tyson Chandler off the Bulls' hands if they'd accept a similar package to what the Knicks gave up for Curry? (expiring contracts & a young player or 2?)

Tyson has actually had way more injury issues then Eddy even did. Back problems especially. It comes as no surprise to me that he is struggling mow. Shortness of breath? Hell, he's got that huge superstar contract on his shoulders now, he better start showing up. I think in hindsight Dalambert's contract was a good risk and Tyson shoulda got the MLE based on his injury issues. Funny, I thought the opposite last year. Shows what I know eh?

Unless he really wakes up in the second half of the year, he'll Tariq abdul wahad X2. No to chandler thank you very much. Now if you want to throw in Deng we can talk!

The Curry trade can't be assessed until we see where Oden goes.

Yes. Why do you ask? Do Chandler and Curry have anything in common besides being tall black men?

Oh, I think I misread your question. You want to know if I'd give up an expiring contract and a young player or two to get Chandler? No way! I read reports earlier that the Bulls are desperate to get rid of Chandler. Maybe the reports aren't accurate but I believe them. The Bulls can't afford to pay a mediocre bench player $10 mil annually. I'd give them back AD, whom they apparently love, and take Chandler's salary off their payroll but they'd have to include one of

a) Deng
b) our 2006 pick
c) Duhon and Nocioni
d) other combo of young players

If that's too much to ask for, fine. I hardly had my heart set on Chandler anyway!

That would be fabulous.
Chicago is not on the hook for any money, he is their highest paid player, but definitely we would need a pick, or one of their young guys (who I don't think they'd gice up).

Yay lets throw a parade. So have we. I bet you by next year, Skiles, Gordon and probably Deng are all gone.

This is all my opinion so feel free to call me out if it doesn't go down like this.....

The Bulls will miss the playoffs due to their complete lack of inside strength. You can only go so far when all your offense comes from Hinrich and Gordon. Skiles will lose the lockerroom due to his abrasive style and management will dump him. While Skiles is there, Gordon is coming off the bench, he doesn't like it, and he will (already quitely has if you believe everything you read) demand a trade. And Deng is one of those in-between players that will always be more coveted by other team then his own, and the Bulls will probably get a pretty good deal for him. Not saying the Bulls will implode, they still have 2 picks this year, Hinrich, Nocioni, Duhon, but I think that, just like the Hawks, they are so used to rebuilding, they will be content to start again next year, using their picks and cap room.

chicago is not going to trade deng

he is a star in the making, shoots high %, has multiple 20+pt games this year, averaging 6rpg; nocioni would be traded before deng.
