I use AOL explorer. It has everything. Tabbed browsing, automatic virus scan when starting it up, and the mumbo jumbo that us kids love.
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

I hope that doesn't mean you're using a dialup modem with AOL

I use AOL plus dial up.

I think you guys are selling Safari, which I use, short.

What do you guys mean by clunky? It has tabbed browsing, and loads fast, at least compared to IE. I often have a dozen or more windows open. While I haven't tried Firefox in some months I've yet to see an advantage to it. It seems simply to match Safari's functionality but housed in a noisier interface. I like the simple brushed metal look as I feel it doesn't distract my eyes from the subject matter I'm really browsing for.

I used AOL dialup until about 8 months ago when I switched to a cable modem. The Cable modem is like a 1000 times faster. I would hate to go back to dialup.

Opera. The fastest IMO and like firefox there aren't billions of programs designed to hack it as in IE.

I'm just ignorant I guess cuz I have a cable modem and still have AOL....internet explorer is simple to me. No problems with it to make me want to change. AOL is easy and they stay updating the sofware. and whatever virus/spyware protection. I guess I'm just so used to it I don't feel a need to change.

I hate Netscape though. That is the browser of choice in alot of collges. Piece of ****.

Oh yeah; now I remember that. When I switched to a cable modem and cancelled AOL they gave me that offer for $10 per month. It seemed like a waste of money though. They even offered the 1st 3 months free but I knew I'd forget to cancel it after 3 months.

I dunno I had dial up and for like 2 years now I've had the cable modem. Concienience I guess. I'm so used to AOL. I been using it since I guess it came out lol.I don't even notice them charging me.

About AOL being a major spyware outlet.....yeah that is true but so are all the browsers. Nothing is safe on the internet.
