thats funny last week i wrote a post denoting that there was a provision in the new cBA that the Knicks could use to suspend him for not being in shape to compete

hey the fat fck took 30mm $ and came in 35 pounds out of shape I mean for 30mm could you have the responsibility of coming into shape???!!!! Put the f burgers down jerome and get with the program

anything in the CBA about his contract not being guarenteed if he does nothing to try to get back into shape?

^ blame Isiah. We all knew what to expect with Big Fat Ass.

oh really, you knew he wasnt going to try to get into shape prior to the season?

Hasn't been in shape his entire underachieving career, who didn't know that he wasn't going to try to get into shape prior to the season, I mean besides Isiah.

How much is it costing the Knicks including the luxury tax? $60MM? Nice work Isiah. "Uhhh, well we needed a center." Like that's an excuse for giving the Big Stiff that big of a contract.

Why does Curry get a pass? He had all summer to get into shape and an entire month of camp to get into basketball shape but he didn't and now he's paying the price by continually getting hurt.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

well if this leads to JJ's contract becoming null&void its all good by me.

we signed him before curry was here, and last season butler was garbage, and KT was gone... so go figure.

Another reason why Isiah should be fired. At least we are undefeated in 2006 for another 3 hours.

for some reason that just seems to good to be true, if things continue to get worse most likely we'll wind up having, to buy him out and eat the majority of his contract

well, if there is an article in the CBA that allows a player to be suspended for not getting in shape enough to play, you would think that there would be something in the CBA that would void a contract if said player continues to violate the rules....maybe just wishful thinking.

Herb Williams is probably a better player than James at this point.

Well the contrat won't be voided but the team can suspend the player and thus not paying him... basically you're stuck with his big fat ass but you stop feeding him

this just in

jerome james was seen in white plains dumping hundreds of burger king wrappers from his car into a dumpster in a Mcdonald's parking lot. there is no truth to the rumor he stopped in for three double cheese burgers 2 apple pies and a shake although when reporters caught up with him, he had a strawberry mustache and ketchup on his shirt while he was mumbling something about 27mm dollars.

Why is everyone dissing Jerome James. He's done a pretty decent job so far this year in the minutes that he's played. He's been able to put the ball in the hoop.

Does anyone think that there was a clause in JJ's contract that said that he had to be a certain weight by Jan 1. 2006?
