^ Ya I kinda jumped the gun on that.

I think the problem in acquiring Rose is just having the guy around for a more than a year. But I guess if we can acquire an unprotected 1st outta it, I'd go ahead with it.

Lemme tell you something though. Isiah, from day one, hasn't had a concrete plan. He makes some random-ass trades if you didn't notice. First he's winning now, then he's rebuilding, and the truth of the matter is, he's really doing neither.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

You know why I hate Isiah.

B/c he would throw us even further into cap hell JUST to acquire a draft pick (b/c that's his "specialty").
This doesn't put us further into "cap hell"; Jalen's contract expires next season and we wouldn't be getting under the cap next season anyway.

OK guys let's not get too excited about aquiring a late first round pick. Last year's draft was deep because everyone came out in anticipation of the new age rules. This draft will be horrible in the late first. I have all the confidence in the world that Isiah can pull out miracle picks, but we've gotten Ariza and Lee with late picks. They've been great players for their draft slots but still, that kind of player won't help the Knicks immediately.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Yeah, Isiah! Make the Jalen Rose trade already! That way it will be certain you won't make it past this season as the Knicks GM. Jalen is just the right fit in NY: a washed-up veteran with big money still owed to him that will be nice to recieve in place of an expiring contract. A no brainer!

Not even with a first round pick. Isiah makes this deal and after three more losses he will be unemployed...

I'm not sure if Rose is the answer, but remember the last "washed up" vetran that was traded out of Toronto? Worked out pretty well for NJ
