who do you want to start old man Antonio Davis? or do you want Isiah to bring in a big man who plays great defense and is a little younger? Because no one on this current roster is capable and Jerome is a foul machine

I didn't say you were wrong.

I just said it's not an excuse.

I see. anyway there's way too many flaws on this team. in the backcourt and frontcourt.

The only player I would even think about trading Frye and/or any of the other kids is for Lebron,

Can anyone say extreme fan?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

No one I'd trade Frye for someone as unstable as Artest.

I think I'd do it.

I just don't like having Frye and Curry together in the frontcourt.

Offense doesn't championships.

Defense does.

That.....or having the best player in the league.

We're probly not gonna have either the rate things are going.

If you insist on trading him, trade him for a player who you know doesn't have a better than even chance of having a meltdown. It's not smart business to make such a risky trade.

btw, I think Curry's and Frye's games compliment each other.

^ I never said trade him.

I said I don't like him in a starting role.

And let's get 1 thing straight --

they compliment eachother OFFENSIVELY.......

Yes, offensively, but I still think it's a little early to judge a rookie and a guy who can't stay on the floor (not that we can be confident that he ever will be able to). Curry has seemed to improve his rebounding under Larry (5.9 per game in 24.7 minutes this year, while last year he averaged 5.3 rebounds in 28/7 minutes).

Frye is fine! If they are not letting him get open for an easy shot then it makes things more open for Curry in the lane! Just him being a threat makes him that much more valuable.

And he is adjusting! A full college season is like 30 games. With preseason, they have already eclipsed this total.

All rookies hita wall!

^ Ya but Frye is a 4-year college grad. And he's never been known as a defensive or rebounding specialist.

What makes you think he's gonna randomly cultivate both of those things?

Like I said, defense wins championships. It's nice and all that Frye compliments Curry on offense, but I'd much rather have a poor man's Ben Wallace next to him.

I would like a three man rotation so I really agree with you more than not. Injuries and matchups would dictate much.

I think any player regardless of age leaving collge needs a period of adjustment. I think Frye is still physically developing which can lead to a more physical presence.

frye is in awesome shape physically. Runs like Jerome and curry do to the dinner table.

Frye aleady shows an uncanny back to hit jumpers anywhere on the court. His hook shot inside is just as deadly with both hands. What happens if he learns to take one dribble and shoot? What happens if he shows he can take that all the way inside? What happens if he develops a turn around jumper? What happens if he can learn to spin baseline?

To me these are basic moves you have to learn to play inside. Frye aleady has the physical body to do so. He has the coordination obviously if since his hook and jumper are so clean looking.

You just don't trade frye. He seems like he has his head on straight and he shows will to win. I know I could teach anybody how to play the game imagine what aguirre can do for him?

^ Notice how everything you said has to do with him scoring.....

I'm not really convinced he has the knack to do anything else.

Well, IT knows alot more than you about what Frye can do, that's what he gets paid the big bucks for, besides Frye's a smart kid he knows what he as to work on and he does sp chance he gets, so he'll be alright.

If you say so man.

I sure as **** hope you're right, caz I think we have a habit of expecting too much out of our players...
