I'm sure he would have been willing to include the young guys for Artest if he was doing the patch up you're talking about. Holding on to guys like Frye, Lee, Nate seems very far from a patch up job.

you misunderstood me again Bonn. do you do that on purpose? I was talking about adding Mo Taylor, JJ, Baker & Jalen Rose as being patch up jobs. Are those guys enough to surround frye, lee and nate with?

I am not opposed to trading Marbs. But I think too many fans are falling prey to a warped sense that by dumping Marbs for scraps we ill improve just like NJersey and Phoenix did.

I happen to agree with you there, never again will trading Steph net you one of the game's premier PGs. But I do think it can stop the nosedive we've been in since his "I'm the best" comments when we were 16-13.

exactly stop the bleeding and get this train going in the right direction even if we have to put up with a 1 or 2 of losing which we've been doing for the past 5yrs away.

If Ron Artest was sane Isiah would have traded half our team for him.

People forget Isiah coached Ron and knows he's quicksand.

Not directed at you per se Bonn, but you guys can't keep preaching about Isiah's quest for talent over brains and then wonder why he's not going for Ron. Isiah knows his rehab ward is full, he won't be taking on many more headless projects for a while.

I agree Blue. I had mentioned that being the reason Isiah backed off going after Ron Artes. He coached him and knows how big a risk he is and even trading just Lee and Nate would be too risky because Ron can be a serious cancer who no one wants to play with.

Dude, you had like 30 pages of misunderstandings in another thread. My only point was that not adding Artest is inconsistent with your claim that Isiah's just looking for patchups instead of building a young core. What the hell does Jalen Rose have to do with this? He plays for the Raptors!

you brought in what I said about Jalen Rose and patchwork in the Isiah is re-visiting into this thread thats how. Obviously you think Artest is patchwork but 90% of the nba would disagree. With that said I'm happy Isiah pulled out of that trade because a player who can lose it any minute is not worth even david lee and trevor ariza

there wasn't a misunderstanding in the other thread. there was just a point that was being proven and as far as I know it was otherwise the thread would still be going. some of the arguments in that thread were irrelevant like which team other than the Spurs have rebuilt and won a championship in the past 5 yrs. Obviously no one other than the Lakers and Pistons but 13 others teams rebuilt and are chasing them and it doesn't happen overnight.

At least I finally understand why you've been called a Snit before since you have no idea what went on in that other thread but you're still trying to use it to your advantage.

p.s. I didn't mean for it to be this way Bonn

Maybe the argument was worthless and "irrelavalent" to you but you still don't even understand what were talking about. Just becuase you don't care about what we were talking about doesn't mean some of us did care. If you don't care about it and think it's "irrelavalent" then don't respond. It's that simple.

Im not giving up on this bunch.

Blowing it up will only extend the process even further.

I am with you on that, this is sorry, but I love these guys too much to give up on them, They really need the support of us and the crowd at the Garden.

If I was the I would take center court and urge the fans to not give up on the boys by cheering for them as loud as they can be, this team needs a swift kick in the butt, but it also needs a BIG gift from Santa, the spirit of Christmas will be the savior of this team.
