pacer fans seem satisfied with this trade idea..

Artest, Fred Jones, Pollard, & Bender's contract

for

AD, Crawford, and David Lee


Seems like they are starting to get desparate.

If all it takes is Crawford, AD and Lee, fine by me, it's the Pacer's funeral. Just our luck, Crawford would finally emerge. But my understanding is that Walsh would rather screw Artest by keeping him inactive for the rest of the season and longer if need be.

If I were Walsh, I would suspend his ass for the next two seasons and let him take that Circuit City job.

Actually, I'd say everyone BUT Marbury and the expirings is untouchable...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I would rather trade anyone than Frye. I don't have the high expectations for Curry that everyone else does. His potential is immense, but I am not sure he will ever achieve it. He kind of reminds me of Stanley Roberts.

The thing about Larry Brown teams is that they rarely ever have an actual "leader".

Brown himself is the bandleader.

But where our players differ is that they're not the composed, high IQ types.

We've seen our team play well for certain stretches. Remember that half against Detroit? Marbs played perhaps his best half as a Knick that game, and against no other than Chauncey Billups.

So playing together and well is possible. And that's why I don't think you deal Steph yet. But we def. need more leaders on this team. Too many role players/starters.
