At 22 years old I would drink the night before a game. At 27 years old I was in bed by 11 so that I could get rested up the night before I went drinking.

Allow these guys to mature just like the rest of us. Being on tv does not magically turn you into a superhero that doesn't need to grow up.
I just hope that people will like me

This is exactly the reason that people say Rebuilding doesnt work in NYC. I know the team isn't technically "rebuilding" but they are "building." The main similarity is that right now the team is trying things out and acquiring younger players. Everyone can't say that it isn't going to work after 21 games. It takes time and it takes PATIENCE. Building takes patience. If you don't think Eddy Curry at the age of 22 has the skills to be a dominant player in this league then your crazy! He's a beast downlow and with the PROPER coaching (Aguirre) will become the player we all think he can be but its not going to happen overnight.

I wonder if DOLAN can be patient though.

Dolan loves owning the Knicks. He makes money on them every single year. He doesn't care about this team as long as Stephon Marbury is out on the court because Marbury is one of Cablevisions biggest assets. He sells jerseys and puts butts in the seats. Dolan has been here 8 years and has been patient everyone of them becuase of the amount of money he makes on the Knicks. Even through all their losing, Forbes still ranks them as the 2nd most profitbale franchise in the NBA, second to only the Lakers. Dolan will be patient from today to the day hell freezes over because he's making money off this.

I don't know million and billionaire's never settle. A winning team that profits from being in the playoffs year after year especially in NY makes a lot more money than a team that only relies on a star player to sell jerseys and such. If they don't get in the playoffs soon Dolan will start firing people. He's done it before

I dont know Guns, I disagree. The Spurs get into the playoffs every year but they aren't anywhere near as profitable as the Knicks... you don't see people wearing Duncan jerseys all around the league like you see people wearing a Marbury jersey, even in cities other then NY.

And as far as I can remember correctly, Dolan has only fired one person and thats Layden.

fired was the wrong word. I should've said traded and fired. the Spurs are in a different Market. The owner would love own the Knicks and win in new york. It'd be ridiculously profittable. To Dolan it's always been about trying to put a team together that can be in the playoffs year in and year out so he can make the big bucks. And for as long as he's unsuccessful he's going to keep changing things until he gets there. I don't think he'll force a Marbury trade because he leaves those things up to Isiah but if we keep losing and Isiah doesn't do anything about, his job will be in jeopardy
