Maybe Isiah doesn't think Ron Artest is as goo as people think he is.
Thats problably why he won't trade any of the rookies

Hey, now he even talks like Layden. "We like what we have now..." or some sh@t like that. What a joke.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Isiah hasn't said that, he says he needs to find better players and the roster is flawed. That is flat out not true.

Isiah gets no slack he has run this team into the ground as far as cap space, Ariza doesn't look like he will be anything special, Crawford is erractic at best, Q's back could give out at any second, Jerome James got the mid-level and isn't in the rotation, Mo Taylor is taking up space.....

Curry is undermotivated and is an offensive fouling machine, Channing is going to be a very good NBA player, Nate is going to play hard and needs time, lee has good skills and will be a nice role player.......

Marbury is not even better than Chris Paul by the way who has the Hornets at 500; and Isiah doesn't want to give up his young talent, **** you! I'm sorry but is anyone out there going to be a top 12 player that shuts down the best player on the opposing team......

Ariza, and Lee need to be made available with the combination of an expiring deal or Craw\or Q

Marbury
Q/Nate
Artest/Woods
Channing/Rose
Curry/Davis

Thats a much better team, not to mention we still have some contracts and talent to play around with, Isiah needs to get Artest or this team has no future

Isiah has had beef with Artest in the past.

But I wouldn't believe a damn thing he says. He's pretending like he has no interest so Artest's value stays as is.

There's no way Ariza is untouchable b/c he plays the same position as Artest. And it's interesting but I'd sooner think Butler was untouchable than Lee b/c he plays backup Center. (not to say I think we need him more than Lee, quite the opposite IMO).
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I think Isiah knows Indy doesn't really want to deal with him. I think also Indy would rather have Artest in the west and not have to deal with the hype everytime he comes back.

I believe Isiah will wait and see what is offered and then make his pitch, and I don't believe anyone is untouchable except Frye & Curry he just doesn't want to show his hand.

People have been saying fire isiah since he got here. Isiah has been trying. The current problems is not isiahs fault. All you guys are just taking a whole bunch of bs. Watch a game once in a while and you can see what's going on.

^ I beg to differ.

Isiah isn't exactly the best GM around.

He did up the talent, but at what cost?

If I was GM, I wouldn't have traded for Marbury. At best he's a Robin, and not a very good one at that. Yet here in NY he's our "ace", and you can thank Isiah for that.

i'm not sure what other player we could have gotten to build around at the time. and remember, we were still trying to compete with houston expected to return.

many say we should have gone the other route, and traded the bad contracts for expiring deals, but that would have cost us our draft picks, while also seriously reducing how much money we could play with. isiah has flipped the roster over, brought in much better talent(a lot easier to trade if we have too), and he still has assets to work with(over 28mil in expiring deals). i'm not complaining. its a slow process(which is why many believed it couldnt be done in NY), but also fun watching some of these kids grow, and thats what i expected.
