I would offer AD + $3mm cash and a choice of 2 of Ariza, Lee SA pick this year for Artest and Bender. If I have to take Croshere then so be it but I'm keeping the cash.

Fish, would you give up Q, Ariza, and Lee?

I think it's got to come down to one of the two, either AD, Ariza, and Lee for Crosher and Artest (giving the Pacers cap room and young players) or Q, Ariza, and Lee for Artest.

I can't see anything but those two getting it done.

that would be the perfect deal for us. or if they even wanted more cap relief, i'd consider,

AD+Penny+ariza+Lee for Artest+bender+croshere+reggie miller(contract still on their books this year i believe)

I would but I dont think the Pacers would want Q's contract.

I think a deal for AD where we take back Bender or Croshere has much more appeal to them

Briggs keeps offering to get rid of our picks, and then when we do, he will create a thread on how we gave away all our picks for the next decade..... go figure..

Whenever Artest is quoted do you get the feeling your listening to Denis Rodman?

This is quickly turning into something very similar to the Curry situation. I think we can get him and I hope Isiah offers anyone but Curry, Frye and Marbury to do it.

My sentiment exactly.

huh? He just drafted rather than traded 3 first rounders. He can easily pull off more trades taking back salary and landing picks if he wants to.

AD, $3m and a choice of 2 of Ariza, Lee, SA pick, Nate, or Butler. No need to keep Nate and Butler off the list.

No to Nate or Butler. I see those guys as indispensable off the bench players. Jackie is just too young and rugged and Nate will be the tempo changer. Ariza, Lee would be duplicates of SF's, so they are no big loss.

Indiana is gonna want Frye. Without Frye I don't see anything we can offer that will get it done - unless there really no market for the guy (which I doubt) To me Artest is too big a risk to give up Frye for.

i dont think isiah would do it. if isiah really believes frye is the 2nd coming of duncan, there is no way he would trade him for artest.

what picks? We basically got 4 players in this draft if you count Butler and Curyy is just 22 years old. Isiah picke up Curry with that one pick and he's going to be better than anyone in next year's draft. We get three picks in one draft what more do people want

Yeah, it's funny how people focus on the 16th pick in '04 we gave up for Marbury that the Suns sold, but you don't hear much about the 21st pick he GOT for Kurt Thomas or the two first round picks he got for Nazr.

one question, do you think steph and artest can get along on the court?

artest has some issues, and now you got two nyc egos on the same team. it's just something i'm bringing up. i have no clue but artest is a psycho and he could punch steph in the face in the middle of a game.

Some people won't be happy unless Isiah is able to accquire every pick in the lottery next year.
