Agree with Killa. Jefferson is too much like Marbury, slasher, scorer but not really a shooter. We would do better with a pure shooter type, like Allan Houston.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Roy Hibbert, come on Briggs, that guy is a Stiff with a capital S. I saw that guy live twice (in HS at GTown Prep and in college v. BC) and he stinks.

As everyone else said, lets see what Curry can give us before making a move like that.

You saw Roy Hibbert when he was 360 pounds
and concluded he stinks. I'll give you a hint--watch him this year--he weighs about 280 and he moves much much better than even 6 months ago. Maybe not this year--but that will be decided as the season goes along--and he is making a case--but in the next 2 years Roy Hibbert will be a top 3-5pick EASY. Roy Hibbert's fundamantal game is already light years past Curry.

I like the thought, but I would think we could do better than jefferson- no disrespect.

good stat on assisted vs. none- look at kenyon over on denver- I think most called that too- call it the kidd effect

um...do you realize how good the Knicks would be with Jefferson, Frye, Craw and Marbury? It would be sick. You could start Jackie and win 55 games with that group. Much as I love Ariza, Jefferson is a borderline superstar at the wing. He's a stud, a playmaker, rebounder, scorer, finisher, stopper. There is nothing that guy can't do, he can even shoot from outside more now. If he was on this team, we'd be right there with Indy and Det. I'm serious.

If Roy Hibbert is a top 3-5 pick I think I'd die of shock. In HS opposing schools used to chant "freakshow" because of how big and uncoordinated he was.

You're the scouting guru so I'll take your word for it and look out for him this year, but I have a hard time picturing it from what I've seen of him.

I'd do it. Jefferson not only scores - he rebounds very well (9.3 rpg this season as a small forward) and plays very good d. He's only 25. Jefferson's a smart player. I don't see that in Curry. Curry always has difficulty getting and staying in shape. He doesn't rebound well or play good d and he gets into foul trouble.
